agreed re: capezios.. i also just naturally have a very high arch so most sheos dont give me enough arch support.
ray rose is so expensive! well i guess somewhere in the middle, but still $160 for shoes is definitely a lot.

do you compete in salsa?

No, I only perform. There really aren't many formal salsa competitions like in ballroom except for the world salsa campionships on ESPN, and you have to be pretty damn good to compete in that. They have different categories for on-1 and on-2 dancing, and the people who compete tend to have more of a ballroom background/style, whereas people who perform at salsa congresses tend to have more of a club-style look (more body motion and spinning). How long have you been competing in ballroom?

I hope to have time during med school to continue training and dancing. If you go to school in NYC, then you should definitely check out the salsa scene there, like Jimmy Anton's social.

Haha, yes, he was the best puppy ever. He's much bigger now and he eats like a pig, but he sleeps at my feet every night and happily greets me with dog breath every morning, so I guess I'll keep him. 😀

I used to do ballroom from ages 10-14, got up to the prechamp level, but then i didnt have a partner. teenage boys didnt want to dance; it wasnt "cool" enough. lol
in college, 2005, i went back and now back up to the gold/prechamp level, although finding a partner isnt much easier. i didn't dance at all this apst semester because of partner issues.
if i go to NYU, dancesport is soo close to me! lol its around34th and 6th which isnt bad.

We were at a polo event so we went a little overboard w/ the Cornell paraphernalia. But it worked b/c Cornell won!!

No offense...but if you mix all those together...you're probably gonna look like a Puerto Rican lol cause we tend to be a mix of Black/African, Spanish & Native mainly...but I think my great great grandma was an immigrant to the island from France lol...basically I'm saying we the same lol 😉
