i thought they forgot about us early interviewees

does anybody know what the entire cost breakdown is for attending Temple and living in PhIlly?

it is in the pdf file attached to your acceptance email

living here varies bc they dont offer housing so it's the best place you can find on your own
 
Also heard back yesterday; officially accepted! I interviewed with a group on 1/17 and was told there were about 15 seats left in the class. Sounds like they may have filled the class or only have a few remaining seats for the interviews scheduled this week?
 
i'm so glad they went back to reconsider me bc i interviewed in october! so long ago, i forget how many ppl will be in the class?..like 100 something

I believe its 128. I'm surprised they filled most of the class so fast
 
Depends who shows up, when I went to the interview I think there were 8 of us and maybe supposed to be 10 originally? Someone can correct me if I am wrong and I don't know if it changes for post-dec interviews

Hey guys! I interviewed on 1/10 and was very fortunate to get accepted the very next day! I am local so I drove my deposit in that Monday. On the day of my interview they had mentioned that there were 105 deposits put down from the initial batch of acceptances on Dec. 3rd. Looking forward to meeting everyone in August!
 
I interviewed on the 10th to and have not heard a thing yet. Did you interview anywhere else too?
 
No this was my first and only interview. I applied late and was lucky to hear back from my top choice first.
 
Good job, I think I remember who you are since we interviewed the same day. Hopefully I eventually get in as well since I was really impressed with the school, became my top choice.

I should have done that too! I drive by temple all the time going to work but I mailed it bc I thought we had to submit that way. Are you planning to live with parents or no?

Good luck Howaminow! No, I decided to move downtown because my girlfriend just got accepted to Penn Vet so we are looking into moving into an apartment in the city. I think it would be too much commuting for me to live with my parents since we live in the suburbs haha. What about you?

awesome..congrats to both of you smartie pants!

i see..i live about 6mi from school so i may stay with my dad or move literally a few blocks from school. I just really hate septa so im trying to avoid that..but i found out temple has parking so i could always drive!

15 seats were left since your interview, and it seems like a few (just from SDN) got accepted this week. So something like 10 seats or less available. Makes me regret scheduling my interview for next week instead of this week (got the invite last week) 🙁
 
I just got my Temple interview invitation today!
They said it's next week and today is already Friday 🙁.
Does anybody have such rushing email invitation like me? And did they give you specific date in the interview invitation or you have to call to schedule like me???
 
I had to call and schedule. Good luck! I was fortunate to receive an acceptance the next day as well. Great school

Temple is my first choice so I am so nervous and would u mind telling me if they sent yiu an email or give u a call?

On Dec 3 I got NYU, LECOM and Meharry.

Temple is my #1 bc:

1 it's the cheapest
2 excellent clinical experience
3 i live in philadelphia
4 there is class capture/playback
5 i'll be invisalign certified (important bc i'm interested in orthodontics)

My dentist and orthodontist are both Temple graduates so I've always heard great things about the school. Also, there are 1-2 things about the other 3 that I really do not like.
 
Still waiting on an interview Temple is my #1 choice best clinical in the country

WHat I have heard is that they have reached their maximum number of deposits, and won't issue more acceptances until some people rescind. Fingers crossed...
 
How often do people rescind their acceptances? I'm still waiting to hear back from them too!
 
Just called this afternoon and declined my offer. Felt awful as I love their clinical program, but I got into my top two choices and hopefully it opens a spot for someone who wants Temple as their #1.
 
For those recently accepted, when is the deadline to submit deposits? I really really want in this school....

For those finding out in February, the first deposit to ensure your seat in the class is usually due 2 weeks after being accepted. Then the second deposit is due April 1st.
 
They gave me a month to send in my first deposit. Accepted 1/25, first deposit due 2/25. Second deposit due on April 1st like the others said
 
I interviewed 1/31 and they told us they had 127 deposits. Historically speaking about 25-30 people rescind their offer by the time orientation comes around so right now we're all basically just waiting for people to change their minds.
 
Just landed the interview I've been waiting on I interview march 12th let's get it 🙂

Did you mean to post in this thread i see your status says pre-pharm. August 22&23rd are for orientation for Temple Dental idk if its the same for pharm, class then begins that monday the 26th

I will be graduating this May and needed to sell my furniture which includes a queen size bed, night stands, side tables, a heater, printer, and AC.

Interviewed at Temple two days ago, I have to agree with you Swoops! The interview was a great experience, we had the chance to tour the school and speak with many students and faculty. Temple was and still is my number one choice for dental school. Can't wait to hear back. :zip:
