Ahh the good ole' days... when Sunny and Ana were SDN newbies, Evo was a non-trad god, Sandiego was a dog-in-a-bun, Philanthropist was a studmuffin, Mushy reported the weather and all was right with the world!

We have a lot in common 'cause of our 'O Levels and considerable time outisde the US!

motherfkin WRD. i just got it too. i will be waiting with bated breath.

so this is what it feels like to finally win at something in this process. i know it could be for not if the waitlist doesn't move, or if it does, i don't get selected to take the spot, but i've only met with rejection thus far.

yea most definitely. you have tons of time outside of class. i'm not sure about the schedule but it is more than doable. i work a work-study job and get 20 hours in easily; i would do more but 1) they limit you to 20 a week and 2) i've already run out of my work-study allotment once. hahaha.

nope no date changes. just the email. i know it sucks waiting. the good thing is TAMU never gave me a distinct date that they'd be giving all this info out. i thought it'd be next week.

if you have any other questions, feel free to ask or PM me. i don't know about you, but if you need lots of time to study, you might have to switch shifts or something so that you can study adequately before an exam. and it sucks when you have test after test since your life is pretty much getting ready for the next test. but that only means there's more downtime after that onslaught.

It wasn't until last fall that I even realized Evo was a guy. I have NO idea why. Also, where's LabMonster? I remember the first time I saw his pic on the picture thread 😍 and the good ol'days when MM was still DarkSide and actually posted occasionally 🙄

Just got the TAMU waitlist letter. Any idea if there list is rank list or a pool? And any idea how many people are on it? I want to bug Filo or Terry about this but I'm afraid a ton of people are doing the same and I don't want to bug them. well I'll probably end up sending an email or something anyway.

Congrats, yourmom! I hope you get into the school you want to go to. Man, I tell ya, waiting for OOS responses sucks. They don't like it when you call them and you're just part of this huge pile of people. At least with TX, you have a timeline. The bulk of students in my program are just starting to get interviews now so it's the complete opposite of TX admissions.

Mine says "High Priority" too, but it's probably just telling you to read the email right away and has nothing to do with your position on the waitlist. Sorry.

This is true. At the interview we were told 100 students would matriculate. As of now there are 113.

Honestly, I'm not holding my breath. However, the letter did gain my interest. Seeing how most folks say the class has been overfilled, I might have felt better not receiving the letter at all
