Hmm...I was a big TNG fan as well, not sure I'd go as far as to say that. But I do love my some BSG 🙂 It's on Sci-fi and DVD 👍

Don't get me started on Star Trek. I have been HOOKED on Spike since they started with the reruns of TNG and Voyager.

Did ya'll know Tom Parris from Voyager once appeared as a cadet at Star Fleet Acadamy with Wesley Crusher on a TNG eposide? Of course he was not Tom Paris, but the character was a rat bazztid who got himself and Wesley in a heap o' trouble.


I also like Enterprise with Scott Bakula. It isn't my favorite, but Hoshie and Dr Flox are kewl. Tripp is a sexy beast.

If I could come back, I would wish to be a Vulcan like T'pol or Tuvok. Would it be very wrong of me to name my kid T'pol or Sarek?

LOL trekkies... I recently finished watching Star Trek the Next Generation from start to finish - Season 1 to Season 7 - took like a month or two. I even watched all the movies when I was done with the TV series.

The average indebtedness of grads from UTSW in 2005 was $75,399.
The average indebtedness of grads from UTMB in 2005 was $98,517.

So if you get 5K/year then you get a total of $20,000 for your four years. That means if you go to UTMB (and you are average) you will graduate with a debt of $78,517. From what it looks like you are still paying $3,000 more to go to Galveston. Then you also have to take other factors into consideration:

1. Dallas vs. Galveston
2. Rankings/Reputation (if that even matters to you)
3. Research (UTSW has 4 laureates I believe)
4. Hospitals - Parkland vs. Sealy
5. Curriculum - Traditional vs. PBL
6. Board Scores

In my opinion, UTSW wins hands down (5-1). But the decision is up to you.

as far as utsw vs. utmb, i dont think you can go wrong. utsw has the name and i have friends at utmb who absolutely love it there. good luck w/ your decision.

I would wait on financial aid from UTSW before deciding. They still offer grants (non-scholarship) that are basically free money. But I'm not sure how it works with waitlisters. The UTMB deal sounds sweet though!

I am under the impression that a good amount of student receives some short of scholarship or finicial aid. I remember UTSW projected a figure of around 30k/yr for tuitions, food, housing, and other expenses. That easily add up to 100k+ over the course of 4 years.

ummm I wouldn't say they were even... since you know... they're MARRIED NOW! It wouldn't be a problem if stupid Izzy (She once was my fav) could stuff a muffin in her mouth and shut up about possibly loving george. whether its good or not, george is married so izzy needs to back off. I'm very irritated because now they're in a situation where there is pretty much no solution that will make me happy.

On a more fun note my roommate and I made t-shirts that say McRoomies and right under that we put Seriously. It was fun. 🙂
