@Lissarae06 is free to tell you all what she would have voted.

Rojo's team was assembled. "If you want something done right, you've gotta do it yourself," he thought to himself, and so, with a wide majority, the team of @thedrjojo @Escalla @devyn @Cyndia @wolfspeaker and @hedgiehog got to planning their strategy for the next evening.

Y'all 6 need to send in your success/fail PMs.

And mind you, the wif's favorite play is phantom, our hotel was attached to the playhouse playing phantom, and we went to les mis instead(probably should have done both in hindsight) and she had 0 complaints cause we were blown away (and she never saw it live)

As a total aside, I gotta say, I was super disappointed where they went with the lyrical implementation of the 'recent' Les Mis movie. I was SOOOOO looking forward to the show. One of my all-time favorite musicals. Butchering it musically just crushed me when I went to see it.

I haven't even watched that movie... The Liam neison version... Fo shizzle

It's soooooooo good live. The movie was ok.....but the live performance was perfect.

The jean Valjean we saw was spectacular... Like, unfathomable... So was the javet... And I am like tempted to get out of bed to find the playbill to look up who it was since google-foo is failing me...

Phantom is my favorite of all time! (but I've never seen Rent or Les Mis)

Interesting defenses yesterday about PMs. Let it be known that with this big ol' gap we've had, everyone has sent theirs for today, so if anybody tries to say they didn't send one today, they're a damn dirty ape!

Write up will be a little while.

well, since they are all success, no one will need to claim they didn't send it in 😉

As a side note: I doubt anyone here is as rabid about Les Mis as I am. Saw it in Broadway 3 times. Own three different film versions. And played Javert in an undergrad production.

just because i haven't seen it 3 times doesn't mean i dont like it as much as you. I saw it the only time it played in Singapore while I was there. And have been listening to the soundtrack for at least 20+ years

If only there was some objective metric of how much you love some thing like this. But what would we measure it in? Are there units for theater fandom? Could we call the units NPH's?

Rojo tapped his foot in anticipation. “Why aren’t they here yet?” he muttered to himself. Almost as if on cue, Cyndia and Hedgie squeezed through the door to the abandoned warehouse everyone else was already in. “Sorry,” said Hedgie, “They started a new patrol on the east side and we had to take a detour.” “Fair enough,” Rojo responded. He didn’t care too much as long as the capital guards remained unaware. Devyn had already cut a slit in the chain link fence surrounding the power plant they were striking, so they had just been waiting on the final group of two to arrive. “Alright, let’s move,” Rojo directed.

The group slithered out the door one by one and hurried up the block to the fence. Escalla held the flap out of the way while everyone else slipped through first. Once inside There were only two guards visible: one near a doorway and another up on top of a guard tower. Hedgie sneaked towards the doorway guard while WS propped her rifle on a barrel and readied it at the guard tower. Hedgie inched closer until she was within arm’s reach. “These guards are so oblivious,” she thought. She grabbed the guard and sliced his throat in one swift motion. Rojo saw that the deed was done and tapped WS’s shoulder. CRACK. The suppressor muffled the shot enough that no one inside would have heard in. The guard slumped out of sight upon the tower.

The group made their way inside the plant. The groups split up again, Hedgie and Cyndia, WS and Devyn, and Rojo and Escalla. Each pair moved swiftly through the facility, taking out guards with stealth. They all arrived at the three main generator rooms and planted the bombs they had lugged with them. With all the guards they found on the way in dead, the way out was much faster.

Once they had cleared back to the warehouse, they peeked through various windows at the plant. “Well, here goes nothing,” Devyn said as she pressed the detonation button.

BAWWOOMBOOMWWOOM

The plant exploded in magnificent fireball. After a half second delay, half of the city was suddenly encased in pitch black darkness. The only light the squad could see were the flames still flying from their target. “All right, ladies,” Rojo turned towards the rest of the group, his smile visible due to the distant glow, “See you back at camp.”

The Mission was successful.

Back at base, Cracker Jack heard the news eagerly and began thinking about what team she would use for the next mission. The capital was sure to start allocating more guards now, so it was decided that she would need to select 7 squad members.

Awesome! 👍

The stats people can do their analysis, but I think we need to continue to recycle. There may have been a spy that chose to allow it to succeed since it will get easier to pinpoint who it is, but we don't have any way of knowing for sure....

I think you spoke a hair too soon.
I did indeed! Yay successful mission! Either Jojo was really luck or a spy decided to vote success to make him think he was.
I'd like to go on the next mission if it won't be happening too quickly. My lunch break just ended and I won't be able to get on my phone for at least 3 hours :lame:

On the one hand this means drjojo and the old squad members are probably legit. On the other, we can't be certain if the new people are clear or spies trying to earn our trust for later acts of sabotage.

with what little we have to go on, i'm suspect of Cracker Jack for voting against my stellar team...

I think we role with the 6 of us and add 1 person to it. No way the spies would have given up the opportunity to go up 2-0 in a best of 5.
