I’m also in the same situation, submitted 5/31, supporting docs filtered in for a month or so after. DAT scores received 7/20, and last transcript received 7/23. What do they considered early applicant? Day you applied or day your file is completed?
 
Just got an interview invite for UTHSC San Antonio! OOS!

That is very interesting, because the instruction said that in state students should submit TMDSAS while out of state students should submit AADSAS. well it works! congrats for your interview invitation!

Thanks! I found this on the TMDSAS website, so I think either is fine for OOS applicants.

I am at Houston right now and 167 were offered acceptances to get to 103 matriculants

It took me about 3 weeks to verify when i submitted on july 16. Tmdsas transmitted my application to texas schools on august 7.
 
Heads up for any OOS applying to San Antonio, they have a strong predilection for students from BYU.
 
Question, I am planning on retaking my DAT.

I already submitted and applied with the one I have back in June. At the time I didn't plan on retaking the DAT but now I am leaning towards it. Do you all know by when should I submit my new DAT scores? Does the Oct. 1 deadline still apply? Sorry if this question is dumb. Thanks.

Interviewed last year. Some people had very casual interviews that were more like get-to-know you conversations. Other people got grilled with pretty tough questions like “why should we take you over another applicant?”. Just depends on who you get.
 
Does anyone know if UT Houston updates the status from application complete to under review on AADSAS?
I'm oos currently but am an alumna of UT Dental. When do they start reviewing oos applications?

I'm an OOS and applied using TMDSAS, but they started reviewing OOS apps couple months ago since the first interview invites for OOS were sent out in August.

Couldn't find this anywhere so thought I'd throw it out here: if you update your planned enrollment after you've already submitted your TMDSAS application (I spontaneously started an MS in Biology), do you also need to update your College CourseWork as well? Thanks!

How are your ECs? URM? Non-trad? Similar stats for me and i haven't heard anything. TAMU is the only school I can go to! :nailbiting:

I interviewed at Houston around this time last year, then San Antonio at a late January interview and then for the post-bacc program at Dallas.
 
Any other non-traditionals who still haven’t heard anything? Hoping I’m not alone 🙁

Does anyone know what time(ish) the schools send out the first round of acceptance offers tomorrow? Are we talking 12:01 am or more of a 8:00am type thing?

Depends on the school. Some send them out at midnight, others send them out around 7 am.
