UC Davis Preference for own UGs?

I have heard some rumors floating around that UC Davis's med school prefers their own undergraduates. I was wondering if this is true? I have searched around for proof or evidence to the contrary, but I've got nothing much, and MSAR doesn't have this info.

I know for sure Davis heavily prefers Californians, especially Norcal folks, but their UGs aren't all necessarily from Norcal, I know they have Socal folks there.

Any Davis folks care to enlighten me?
