so i called the lady at the admissions office this morning and we're back to the starting point i guess... she said "your application is still in the screening process... you have to wait for another 4-6 weeks for a decision". wtf, really??! isn't waiting for two months for a decision on a secondary long enough?

what do you think the problem is? how come they don't screen everyone who submits their application early at the same time? i've been waiting for over 2 months too! this sucks

i was processed by june 15-18, somewhere there, and have heard back from all 30 other schools i applied to .......a long time ago, too. i've decided i don't want the Davis secondary anymore, don't want to have to go back into secondary mode to write 8 essays for Davis.

well how do you know where you are even being considered to be getting a secondary? UCSD said it received my primary since 7-15 or something like that...and they havent said anything about a secondary...im just thinking maybe they arent going to give it to me, but havent said anything yet. maybe this is happening to you too?

i think all the other uc's (and this includes ucsd) are generally on the ball... i haven't heard of too many people still waiting to hear from them or suffering to the same extent that we are with uc davis after submitting our primaries pretty early...

i mean, it is very clear at this point there's a whole BUNCH of us in the same boat here, and i don't think it's the same way with the other uc's... anyone wanna write a letter to admissions or the dean to figure out if our stuff has been lost or something? i've called at least a dozen times already... 😡

UCLA and Drew are shafting me just as bad as Davis so I don't think that Davis is alone here. I was processed in early-mid June and Irvine sent me their secondary in August. Still a little too long for my liking but at least better than the others.
