a friend of mine received an A this morning 🙂 good luck everyone! I believe they interviewed first week of April!

Is your friend committing to Davis?
Some guy on the UC Riverside forum mentioned he got off the ucd wl this week. I wasn’t aware wl movement started before the 30th. Anyone else get off the waitlist?

I interviewed early Feb, got waitlisted mid-March, then got the A early April.
They have offers elsewhere but I think this may have moved up on their list. Will keep the chat updated on their behalf 👍

Has anyone emailed UCD about the waitlist movement prior to the 30th yet? I wonder what they’d say especially since they’ve seemed so adamant about no movement prior to the 30th.

Got the call about an hour ago! Couldn't believe it so surreal. Was my dream school. Interviewed early October, been on the waitlist since late October. Wish the rest of you best of luck! Hang in there, praying for ya'll!

Resident of CA for like 12 years now and grew up on the central coast!
Lived in Sacramento for the past 10 years with all my clinical, research and volunteering in the area! I’m a non-traditional too!
Interview was in January.
Can any admitted student tell me how many folks are in the group me?
There are currently 142 people in the GroupMe with ~15 current MS1s answering questions.
A lot of people also joined in the past week before May 1st so I believe the traffic rules are different for them.

I don’t think their traffic rules are different nor are they skirting the normal rules. They probably just released more interview decisions prior to May 1. Hopefully more movement tomorrow.

It sounds like the class is pretty much full so I fear us Waitlisters may be in for many more of these quiet days unfortunately. Really hoping I am wrong though. Hang in there my friends, we'll all make it on the path we're meant to walk

There will still be plenty of movement. People are still deciding where to go and waitlist movement is top down (come on Harvard and Hopkins).
