UMDNJ (SOM) meets today!?!?

UMDNJ-SOM's admissions committe meets today (or maybe yesterday) for all those who interviewed within the last month. Good luck all, I'll keep my fingers crossed for all of us. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to resond after they decide. I am in limbo right now and its starting to make me crazy. AAAAAHHHHHH!😱 😛

I was given a form at my interview that included my interviewers' information AND stated that the admissions committee would meet on Monday, Dec 15th. So, you should receive notification via mail shortly after that...according to this paper.

As soon as folks hear back, lets start a UMDNJ-SOM Class of 2008 thread...I don't think we have one yet.

When I interviewed on Oct. 7, the committee met on Oct. 20 and they called me on the 21st to let me know I got in. I think they call all admitted students. Good Luck!

Starting a class of 2008 is good, not many people on this board are going/acccepted to umdnj (compared to other schools).

I interviewed in september and was told the committee was meerting october 20th...i received a phone call on october 20th at about 5:00 p.m....and i know others have said they received a phone call...however, for those of you who didn't get a phone call, this does not mean you are not accepted...i was told by a member of the admission department that not everyone is called strictly due to time constraint...not enough time to call every person who was accepted...but my letter came in the mail to my house oct 23rd...so you should at least get a letter by thursday or friday telling you about their decision...good luck to all of you...i am definitely attending UMDNJ and it has been my top choice since the first day i visited last spring at the open house
