Yeah I got the same e-mail. For now I'm just hanging tight waiting for another e-mail from them and working on my other applications in the meantime. Hopefully (since it is now the end of the month) we won't have to wait much longer! If you need a better ETA you might want to try calling admissions, everyone I've talked to so far over the phone has been really nice!! If you do call them, let us know what you find out!

I'm a second-time Tufts applicant, and I just e-mailed Admissions yesterday to see when the application would be updated this year. (They had taken it down last July & then put it back up, with new essay questions.) I just heard back from them today and also checked my old app online--they're taking it down for several hours tomorrow, and it should be back up after 4 p.m. or so EST. For anyone out there like me, all your old info will be transferred to the new one. The same goes for any new applicants who started & saved an app--the info will be on the new one when you check it after tomorrow.

So I checked the Tufts application site this a.m., and my old one's still there. I went back to the e-mail I received yesterday:

"Yes, in fact the application is not available as I write this. It has
been off-line for about 2 weeks now as we made our updates and changed
the essays. We are crossing our fingers it will go back live this
afternoon. If it does not, you can plan on it being available early next
week. As a reapplicant, your data will transfer over, and it will just
be a matter of making the necessary updates."

So for those out there waiting, the new one should be ready any day now!

Just thought I'd bump this thread to see if anyone else out there is going crazy with some of the essays for the application. Thank goodness it's not due till Nov 1st, that gives us a whole month to finish up after Oct 2nd! haha

Right there with you, CBRGrl! I do have a draft of one of them (Essay 2), but I've been avoiding Essay 1 like the plague. But we'll all get there, somehow....Best of luck to you and to everyone else of us in the same boat!😍
