I seriously don’t get why they can’t tell us an exact date it’s so frustrating

I actually just need this cruel cycle to come to a mf end
I’m thankful I have 1 acceptance but the two I have left to hear from (tufts and Wisconsin) are top 2 and I would really love to get into one or both of them. And I have ZERO idea when I’m gonna hear from Wisconsin.

no bc I fr have 3 schools left to hear from and they all said by the end of february. you’re telling me I could potentially have 3 rejections in 10 days?? that is POOR for my mental health
Same, I haven't gotten any acceptances yet and now I'm going to hear from the 2 schools left (including my IS) within a week this is horrible

I just wish for the amount of time money and effort we put it they could show us a bit of (crazy i know) respect back and give us a date that they’ll release decisions. Not just tufts but every schools acts as if us asking when we should hear back is such an insane inconvenience as if we all didn’t spend thousands of dollars for this 😭😭

The one school I applied to in histories past always released on their decided date, but this year they delayed decisions due to "unforeseen circumstances"
My anxiety this month has been insane

It’s literally never unforeseen. Like do you mean WHAT HAPPENS EVERY SINGLE YEAR? More applicants less workers more qualified applicants than ever blah blah blah it’s all extremely PREDICTABLE. But I’m getting off my soap box now I just want to know :/

For the people who links went away did you apply to the mph or you didn’t and they just went away? This is a little stressful.

was friday last two years but thursday in 2022 so i dont know if its for sure always fridays

Friends, I understand your frustration, but this is very much a part of the process. No school wants to tell you when decisions are coming out because while it's a similar time frame every year, each applicant pool is different, each year is different, and ESPECIALLY this year with everything going on politically. You would be on a rampage if Tufts said "You will hear 2/19" and then it got delayed for whatever reason. It's not a lack of respect; it manages everyone's expectations with the unfortunate side effect of added anxiety.

Part of the problem this year is Tufts completely revamped their application and they genuinely didn't know how it was going to go. And especially after the fiasco of over acceptance last year, they're probably being incredibly careful. You will hear back. Even though it feels like it, the waiting won't kill you. As soon as they have decisions, you all will be the first to know, I promise. Calling isn’t going to do anything.

I don’t think any of us are actually mad at them.. we just are all curious as to when we’ll hear back
This! I think it’s a natural progression to be frustrated when you’ve spent your whole “life” working towards this. Not actually MAD at anyone just voicing frustrations to people who I know can relate

And it’s not just impatience, it’s a constant stress of wondering when you’ll hear back and what the outcome will be. It gets very overwhelming and exhausting. No one is mad at Tufts, we’re just all hoping to hear back asap so that we can alleviate some significant stress in our lives.

I also think waiting 7-8 months after starting and doing your applications warrants impatience 😂😂 like idk about y’all but I started these almost a year ago

being a second time applicant makes it feels like its a century, I was waitlisted from multiple schools and was waiting over the summer for decisions (and was ultimately rejected) so it felt like its been one long cycle. Thankfully I was accepted to some places in the UK but impatiently waiting for the US schools
