I interviewed last week and it was not very stressful, it was laid back and very conversational and friendly. They did not ask any questions regarding COVID if I remember correctly. You will do great!

How did your interview go?? My interview is this coming wednesday, did they ask you a lot about certain things you had already mentioned in your application ?

Method of notification: email
Residency: instate (IL)
AADSAS mail-out date: June 27th
Application complete date: July 12th
GPA (overall, science): 3.7, 3.4
DAT (AA/TS/PAT/Reading/any section below a 17): 21/19/22/25/none
Dates available OR your interview date: October 7th
Method of Interview: blackboard (basically zoom)
 
Yeah I think it went well too! I wonder if we will hear back by December 15, but I have a feeling like we won't.

I got notified of my interview on November 25
 
Hello! Did anyone's status change on their AADSAS portal for UIC? Or is it still "invited for interview" since you interviewed? (for those interviewed already a while ago)

Oh okay, good! Mine still says the same and I interviewed on October 20th. Just wanted to confirm with people on here that it says the same thing for them. Thank you and good luck to all of us. I hope we hear back from UIC soon! 🙂

Congratulations to those accepted so far! Do we know if it was one email sent to everyone at once, or if they will be emailing throughout the day? Trying to keep my hopes up 🙁

According to last years thread it was through out the day until about 12:30 pm CST but keep your head up even if you don't get in today there's still hope. They said this is not the only acceptance day so I'm sure it's coming.

I have no idea to be honest, but I can no longer find anyone else who got accepted on Bootcamp fb group.
I had an interview on Sep 30th, IS.
 
How likely is it to be accepted off the waitlist as an OOS student? I know UIC doesn't accept a lot of OOS....

I'm contemplating sending an academic update email/letter of interest to them as I'm still waiting to (hopefully) get invited to interview...I'm unsure on whether or not they will accept it though because their website states that "The UIC College of Dentistry is unable to accept transcripts, additional letters of recommendation, resume's and other documents once the AADSAS application is submitted, unless requested by the Admissions staff." Fingers crossed that we all hear some good news soon from them!!

Yeah when I took the DAT after submitting my application, they wouldn’t allow me to send them my unofficial scores. But let us know what kind of feedback you get if you send something in and if they allow you to do so!

has anybody that interviewed between Nov 16- Dec 15 heard anything? acceptance/waitlist/rejection

I have a GPA of 3.5 and DAT of 20. I honestly have no idea how much longer they will do interviews. I think this interview is for the waitlist though.
