That's what she told me too. But it's weird because some people have already gotten an interview for the 7th. Well for the Florida campus the only person that has said anything is MSC. Maybe he/she's the only one invited! Fingers crossed lol. So I emailed her again and basically asked her again if they had more than one interview dates. I'll post back when/if she replies.

Wow I'm so sorry. That sounds really stressful. So she didn't give Yall a definite yes or no to multiple interview dates? I think the only reason maybe I heard back so early was cuz I applied really early? I'm not sure though. Good luck Yall.

would you be kind enough to share your stats? 😀 Im was going to apply for this term also but had to push it to October for Summer 2016 due to one incomplete pre-req and am curious about the average. 🙂
I also deferred to finish up some classes and am curious about stats as well....do you think there is a lot of discrepancy among campuses or do most have the same average acceptance stats?

I'm new to all this craziness and I'm excited to get the ball rolling 🙂 I know the deadline for Spring 2016 has passed but I was thinking of applying to Fall 2016. I know that it says 2 semesters of biology are required as prepreqs. Do these semesters require lab? My major in college did not require me to take bio labs, but I took a number of lower division and upper division bio courses.

I do not believe the labs are required but they are recommended….. but i would call an advisor to double check

I had an interview in June, and they told me it was the second interview day for the fall 2015. They said they have one big interview day and then if the class doesn't fill up from those applicants then they have a second interview day with the people that were unable to interview the original day and they may ask more applicants to come to that second day as well. However, after i was invited for an interview I was emailed and told the fall 2015 class was full and my june 12th interview would be for the spring 2016. process can be very confusing,

My stats are not the best at all. I think what helped me more then anything is my 4 years experience and having been on multiple settings including volunteering and work. I've applied for three years now. First time with USA, what I appreciate with this school more than anything is they look at you as a whole.

Hours: 4,000+

GRE: 290 (I am retaking it at the end of this month!)
I have over 4,000 volunteer hours. 600+ are in PT (varying specialities)

The interviews were last Friday the 31st, at least for the MOT program. Does anybody know, if they will be having any alternate dates for the interviews? My interview invitation was in my junk mail and I didn't see it until today.

Yes, for the San Marcos location!! I am hoping they have another alternate date for people who couldn't make it or didn't receive the email. Hopefully they go for another couple of months. Was Erika at the San Marcos location?

You should contact Jennifer. When I spoke with her, she told me that there's an alternate date in September for people who can't make it on the 31st. I think the specific date in September is still TBD.
I am going to go there tomorrow morning and talk to her first thing! How long ago did she tell you this? Thank you so much, you have given me some hope!!

Keep in mind if you apply for Summer it wont be as competitive vs fall. Your job should understand

I understand, I originally wanted to apply for fall but they asked if I could do Summer instead because fall always has overload of applicants. I coiuldn't get my pre-reqs done by that summer so I ended up pushing it to the Spring.

Im working on my application for Summer and this process is rather confusing. I filled out my academic profile and submitted it. Is this the time that I wait for my login info that some of ya'll are talking about or was that on the old application. It would appear that I can upload my unofficial transcripts, autobiography, statements of purpose and resume to this application part. Do i have to submit all this before they send me login information (or again was that only the old application). Lastly how do we obtain a pre-req form? Sorry for all the questions I am just rather confused at this point HAHA.
it is my understanding that the login was for the old application process and the new one you can just begin uploading documents like the SOP, autobiography and resume. You will see the links to have forms sent out for references and observation hours that those contacts fill out and submit. As the school receives those documents they process them and place them as received into your portal. I would think there would be a link for the pre req form but I got it via email from Jocelyn at the San Marcos campus. If you would like PM me and I can forward it to you.

Each campus takes 55 for the full-time DPT program. I can't quite speak for sure for the others, but OT is around 30, I think.
So anyone that applied to Austin DPT that hasn't heard back yet you may want to try and call Ms. Yvette to be sure your application is complete and set as application needs to reviewed. I've been trying to get in touch with Ms. Yvette for a week, left several voicemails and emails and I called just to see by chance if she would pick up and she did. I asked her if applications were still under review and she said yes. So then I asked her about my application and she said oh they were waiting on these transcripts to be submitted so let me submit that and change the status to application needs to be reviewed.... Most difficult process I've been through.

A few of us were talking about the difficult process of USA in the Fall 2016 thread. It is indeed a very confusing application process especially due to the lack of help from the admissions team and the lack of simple, concise application instructions.
I just found out about St. Augustine about 4 weeks ago. I am really wanting to start OT school in January. I have everything turned in but my GRE is scheduled to be taken on August 18th. 🙁 I am seeing that interview invitations have already been sent out, so am I completely out of luck? Yvette told me to email her my GRE scores right away, but she did not know when the class would be full. Does anyone have any input on this? I'm super upset I found out too late, but is there any chance I could still get an interview?

Hey guys!! It was from 9-2 with a few breaks in between. NO ESSAY!! The interview itself was only 30 min, super laid back and easy. Myself and one other applicant interviewed with one professor together. They said we'll have a decision in 2 weeks

I applied for the MOT program for Spring 2016. I have not seen anything under my admission decision tab on my online application. I also never received a pre-req. form to be filled out and sent back to an advisor. Did we need to request a form is it to late? I applied to the Austin campus. Yvette did tell me what classes would count but I never filled out a form. If someone can help I would appreciate it. Thanks.
I'm curious of the chances getting accepted after being offered an interview? I'm reading some posts from last Spring that people were offered interviews but were rejected. I feel like once your given an interview, the looks at your grades/application is over and they just want to see how you really are in person? I'm just anxious for this interview and hope to get accepted :X Hope someone can shed some light on this, lol.
