Got my scores today.
VA: 58
Bio: 84
RC: 65
Math:89
Chem: 81
Writing: 3/3
Composite: 82
My current GPA is 2.97, but if I pull it up to at least a 3.0 by the end of the year, would I have a chance in getting in University of Toronto pharmacy? My first time taking so Idk..
UT's cut off for cGPA is 2.7 I think, however a low cGPA relative to the pool average will put you at a disadvantage. That aside, there have definitely been people accepted with cGPAs in the high 2s. Your PCAT meets all of the cutoffs from last year (composite is good too) and, as PhArMaCiSt1 previously mentioned, the cutoffs are not anticipated to rise this year. Since cGPA may be a weak point, the onus is on you to brush up on your interview skills and stand out during MMIs 😎. Raising your cGPA above 3.0 can't hurt either right? 👍
