UPenn Class of 2025 Interview/Acceptance Thread

Hi! are there any applicants from CA on here? interested in applying. If you have received an interview, could I ask you a couple questions? Thanks!
 
Im checking my mailbox every single day after reading some of your replies.

Has anyone who doesn't live on the East Coast received a rejection letter via postal mail?

Hey everyone! Since (according to past year threads) Penn does their acceptance calls in alphabetical/location order can those of you who get calls and are willing to share post: 1) Time of call 2) the first letter of last name 3) Geographic location (Ex. Northeast, Midwest....) 4) If you got any merit scholarships. Keeping my fingers crossed that we all hear the good news!

i have been too hahaha. i'm assuming it's because they will reject a batch w/o interview on dec 15 and are sending out the physical letters early to ensure people get them at around the same time they send a rejection email or AADSAS status change? idk but it is stressful bc i don't usually check my letter mail often
 
According to the DENTAL SCHOOL ADMISSION Bootcamp fb page, a current Penn student says that penn is about to start sending out acceptances from East to west Coasts
 
I saw on the FB group that calls have started ppl with last name A

This is correct. My last name starts with G and I just received a call
 
Has anyone from the west coast receive a call yet?

You gave me a little more hope since my name starts with an A and I haven’t heard back from penn. I’m nervous 😬
 
Someone just posted with last name A at 1:05 on Fb this is completely random now

Accepted! got the call at 5:12pm EST last name starts with S

Anyone know if there is a Facebook page, or want to get in touch if you plan on attending? Had a wild decision day- this was the only school I got into, so hoping the HPSP will come through and I can attend my dream school without worrying about funding! Even the 3 year HPSP is an option if I don't get it the first time around, so I'm about 75% set on UPenn 🙂
 
I got in today around 5PM also. If there are any current students here, is there a group for accepted students yet?

You guys think there's any hope of the school holding a socially distanced accepted students day so we could see the school?
