Clearly it worked since 1) villagers didn't know there were separate packs and 2) it bought zen all kinds of cred
Didn't they win separately anyway?
 
And of course, thank you @Kam325 for being a super fun co-mod, putting up with my bitching, and always having a ridiculous amount of enthusiasm about various design details and ideas. Additionally, appreciate @LadyOtheFarm for hanging out with us - sorry the deadlines weren't super good for your time zone, but I hope you feel like you learned a bit about modding! Looking forward to RHPS.

Couple Call Outs:
@StartingoverVet - This post was impressively on point, and it was obvious as soon as you had a bit of time that you were really working on solving things. Sad that your rez didn't go through! (although always glad to have PBC around 😍)
@Ceke2002 - For keeping conversation going in those extremely slow beginning days. Most of the theories were pretty wild, but it was something at least!
@Zensing - Like this post if you never want to type "like if x" again. :laugh:
@ResoluteMike - You just had horrid luck to be seered by a wolf N1 of this game as an affiliation seer. Seering KC as neutral with your very short time with us probably stopped a lot of village mislynching to those two, so fantastic job with your very limited time.
@Jilary - For questioning Zensing in that last lynch. Nobody else was anywhere near that conclusion; fantastic call.
@SummerTheLynx and @kcoughli - You guys were a blast in your PM and Limbo. Hope you had fun despite the shenanigans and the fairly non-traditional roles!​

Grr, knew there was something off about Jayna 😛 Was wrong on other counts though, lol. I was pretty aimless after the loss of my original PM partners! I'm no good at Vanillager-ing.
When RM died I was initially paranoid that I'd accidentally revealed something, pfft.

You kind-of did. When I read your description (slashed by a wild beast to reveal alignment), I considered that Rachel might be an alignment seer and slashed you in bear morph. FB added that RM was Rachel, and Jayna noticed that you two were in the same convo group and that seers usually check someone in their PM group first. That's how we figured out RM was alignment seer.

I still disagree. Yes, it was risky, but we were close enough to endgame that I felt like whoever broke the game of chicken first would win. Guis could have killed me very easily, or blocked me or Jayna the following night to out us.

The other factor into killing Guis that night was because Jayna and I thought she had a partner. Kata's item/info said that there were four wolves before FB was lynched. I thought maybe FB was holding out on us and had an additional convert (but not one that protected her, like jayna). If guis had an additional, unknown partner, we'd need the extra time to figure out who to kill.
 
I'd like to tell you all about how today, in anesthesia prep, I was standing right near a group of people who kept saying "what about kcoughli? where is kcoughli?" multiple times while I said, "uh guys, I'm right here, am I a ghost?!?" That is how I felt for like the first few days of this game. I was trying to be strategic with my "likes" but then when STL was getting all the attentions I finally had to go like-happy.

I sent some awesome-tastic items but there was no way I could keep up with the misinformation that STL was sowing.

I was convinced @Jilary was a wolf because of post #699. Jil did you eat the oatmeal? It would make a Yeerk/controller have to have typos in half their posts, and of course I assumed Yeerk/controllers would be wolves. It wasn't until she outed herself as Aftran that I face-palmed in the realization that it was possible that Yeerks =/= wolves.

I was also convinced @SummerTheLynx was in communication with the wolves because he somehow managed to guess that SOV was going to die the night he died. That is why I was convinced Lupin was a wolf, because at that point Zen was gone so how else would he know? Turns out he's a freaking lucky guesser. I also got suspicious of Zen when she outright stopped any attempt to communicate with me. Made me super sad since I sent @Zensing the Bug Fighter just so I'd have someone alive to try to communicate with (that wasn't STL).

@Trilt , @Kam325 , and @LadyOtheFarm thanks so much for the game! Super interesting and I loved being a tinkerer! I only wish I could have made and sent out all my items (and that my Pemalite crystal had ever been used!)

Did anyone use the Mini Escafil Device??

Thank you @JaynaAli for being such a great wolf partner. I'll admit I was a bit upset at first to be the convert, but I had a ton of fun by the end. Also, thank you @Lupin21 for being a good sport when you chose me to talk to after death and found out I was a convert.

I stopped talking to you because I was mostly convinced you were Crayak, but not so convinced as to out myself as a wolf to you :laugh:

I am sorry that no one communicated with you. To be honest, I'm not sure why other people didn't try.

We did! While we were PMing I was a villager the whole time. I only was converted after FB died. I was gonna throw you under the bus eventually though because you "survived too long", but zen killed me before I could ruin our friendship :angelic:

Heh it's fine. Once STL threw FB under the bus (knowing she could avoid a lynch with the item he'd just sent her) it was kind of game over for my credibility. It also didn't help that the 2 people I was convinced were wolves for all the wrong reasons were actually not wolves. Such is life.

To be completely fair, you did convince me that Jilary was a wolf when she wasn't (trilt can verify) and I thus sent the costume set to her so she could put on a villager costume (thus a wasted move for me). Funny enough, it also made it so we could never really know if she was a wolf.

The whole lupin thing was something I had building up for awhile, as I was trying to find someone to build my cred on (chose filly bay as let's be real, she was going down that day anyway), and to make you lose some on (lupin) who I wasn't entirely sure wasn't a wolf, but her questions in pm didn't make sense for a non-villager.

Zen - did you not think I was crayak at all?

Yeah that was misinformation, which I even tried to signal was misinformation, but you guys weren't asking me the right question. It was supposed to increase in number for each time used, but it got used only one time...
 
Thank you @Trilt and @Kam325 for letting me ride along with you!

I tried to jump in on deadlines when I could, but I was not quite sure how you wanted a bunch of stuff handled and figured better to watch and learn... but yeah, morning was about 4 am my time and lynch end was that witching hour between when the kids eat and go to sleep. (They are crazy!!!)

I picked up a bunch and am sooo happy you let me join in the fun! Thank you!

@Zensing and @SummerTheLynx and @kcoughli , you made this so much fun to watch! I spent probably half my time giggling at what was going on!

@Flim Flam Man If you had not cancelled that night... a lot of crazy stuff would have happened. Part of me wishes I could jump to another version of this timeline just to see how it would have played out. I was getting very excited, and I think so were many of the players... and you let the air out of the balloon.😱

Jil actually did not have any oatmeal, she just typo'd at the wrong time... and then happened to be the only non-wolf yeerk. I thought that item was a very clever way to dodge around the no affiliation seering rule. Just bad luck with it. Aftran is one of Kam's faves, so had to be in the game. 🙂

MJ did use the Escafil device but he picked squirrel and didn't have a night action to double.

I feel like I am caught in this epic personal battle... say little on the thread and live long, or be active and get killed quickly. As soon as I started having time, "poof" I was dead.

And let this game be a lesson...there is no noob/veteran divide. Focus on play, not experience!

The costume set made me think it was you that was crayak. I couldn't see kcough coming up with an item that evil. I was going to complain about an item like that being in any game, but then I realized the gods made it, not the mods. I wasn't sure which of you was good/evil until kcough tried to claim I was a wolf, which really ruined her credibility for me. When will you people realize I really am always a villager?

Could the gods have been lynched?

I play almost exclusively from my phone, typos happen, but what did I typo that was so damning?
 
The item fairy must not have liked me. Was that rng?

Who were the wolves gonna kill on the night I cancelled?

Yes, I considered that Crayak would throw FB under the bus to buy credibility. However, Kcoughli did NOT claim FB was a wolf, and I had a harder time believing that Ellmist would not claim FB was a wolf. So, between Crayak outing a wolf and Ellmist saying no, or Ellmist finding a wolf and Crayak saying no, I believed you were Ellmist.

I think it was just the fact that you made any typo period. The item made yeerks put typos in half of their posts, thus giving people a way to identify them.

Gods could not have been. We were destined to leave the game with less than 10 players remaining, so lynching us would just be a wasted lynch
 
Dy actually evaded death twice this game. One of Jayna's failed Antarean Bogg kills and that night cancellation. Lucky duck. 🙂

Items (beyond the Cinnabon/Dracon beam) were initially sent to the person of STL/Crayak's choice, and then RNG'd. They mostly lasted two days, some one, some three just by discretion.

Daaamn. Had no way of knowing at the time (obviously, since RM hadn't messaged and revealed to me yet). So it was like I inadvertently revealed to you before I even knew...:laugh: Y'all just got lucky role-seering him early 😉

Sad I only got one item the whole time (the pemalite), and then didn't get to use it 😛 Fun game!

I had a gun that was supposed to be able to tell villager from convert (although it may have been made to give false readings, according to chat in the dead thread). Unfortunately, because I wasn't able to get online in time to get the notification that I'd been given the item, and I received the item during the same day cycle that I got lynched, I couldn't use it.

I think that was the same item that I got and didn't use, which was good because I'm also pretty sure it was one of STL's
