Is anyone from WV? Has anyone interviewed at WVU????

I can't believe not a single SDNer knows anything about WVU...then again, maybe the students there aren't the SDN type🙄
any help is appreciated...my interview is fast approaching!!

what's the SDN type? I was at two interviews with people from WV - at Wake Forest, and at George Washington University. So there definitely are applicants from WV out there.

I interviewed and was accepted at WVU. Overall, I thought the school was okay. The teaching facilities seemed modern, and I really liked the hospital cafeteria's spectacular view of the football field. When I applied, I was thinking that I could do my clinical years in Charleston, because my grandmother lives not too far from there. The reason I withdrew is that my girlfriend didn't want to move to WV, even if it is almost heaven. 😉

do you know why west virginia exists? because it is a rebel from the mother state virginia. It used to be a part of virginia. Then they did not agree with the south during the civil war. So they just broke apart from Virginia. And the Union admitted them as West virginia, now they are forever apart

otherwise, people in virginia might have a few more choices, etc. and by going to a state school, they can save a buck or two.

That damn Civil War messes everything up. Just think if they hadn't broke up the Louisiana Purchase.
