I just got an email from Arizona (AT Still Univ.) admissions that was a Seasons Greetings e-card. How weird is that? It didn't say anything other than "Seasons Greetings from ATSU admissions". Uhh...Thanks! Now that I have my Christmas card maybe I'll get a Christmas present in the form of a fat envelope!🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
 
I got 1 from ATSU too.. 3 days after their rejection letter.
 
I got the same from Nova today.

Crap, I didnt get one from Nova. But I did get one from ATSU.

Next time they want to take up space on my email account, they need to supplement that with an interview request.
 
i haven't gotten any rejections this week.

whats going on here? maybe they stopped sending rejections:laugh:


anyways,
i contacted a bunch of schools that have my app on hold. they all told me to call them back towards the end of jan to find out the status of my app.

god i hate these waiting games and deadlines.

A nice letter from Arizona acknowledging the withdrawal of my application and saying they are sorry that I won't be attending an interview there and a Nova interview invite.

we are very happy that you applied to our school. we regret to tell you that you aren't chosen for an interview and blah blah blah....."
 
Ahmed....you should call them and ask them what the reason was.....because you and I have similar stats and I got a Temple interview a month ago.......the only difference between you and I is your RC grade on the DAT....if its your RC score thats killing you, perhaps you should consider redoing the DAT.......but I would try and find out to confirm.

oh i am more than sure the it was my RC. RC ranks 7 (from 1-9) for TEMPLE as far as the importance goes.
 
How did you find out how Temple ranks?

I wouldn't trust that book 100%. There's many errors in it.
 
Ok...so here is my day of ups and downs:

So I got out of my last final exam of the semester feeling like ****....that exam was brutal and i really hope it doesnt kill my GPA! So thats bad.....

But then I realized it was my final exam and my holidays started....thats good

But then I arrived home to find a letter from NOVA with a nice big rejection in my face....thats bad

but then I opened up my email with a big interview invite from TUFTS in my face....thats good!

That Tufts interview is GOLD, because TUFTS is notorious for accepting many people at the interviews! Is it still like that?

Dentaldream buddy...we could end up going to the same school! :clap:

When you go to Tufts, stay at the Doubletree. Its right across the street from the school, and is a good base to explore the city.

Science GPA: 3.40
DAT 20/17
Application submitted on Sept 5
 
i got a nice looking envelope from UDM.

i saw a red color letter with a bunch of balloons all over it which made me thinhg INTERVIEW.

then i read it and it say "Season's Greetings". also another letter (for the 3rd time) asking me to reply back in writing to tell them if i am going to retake myt DAT.

i guess they really want that answer so i'll type it up tonight.
i'm sure i'll get my x-mas present (REJECTION) from them soon after they get that reply.
 
I got my official acceptance letter from UCONN plus a little scholarship offer. Man I am starting to like UCONN more and more.
I have to respond by Jan 16 with a deposit, i thought that is a little early, but it wouldn't be fare of me to hold a spot if I am not going. So I'll be deciding soon, there is also an open house in Jan at Uconn anyone going? I'll most likely go.
That's it for now, good luck to everyone.
Damn it feels good to get accepted, I'll start drinking on Thursday! yey!

I havent heard from UConn yet. but if they invite me, i would like to go to an open house.. when did you submit your app?
 
My application process was a mess, I actually submitted on Sept 6th but they didn't get the complite app until late November, which included corrections. You can call and ask about your application status, the secretary is really nice.

Anyway good luck .
 
I got an email interview invitation to Tufts too! It's my second invitation so far. First one is for BU that I got a week ago via email too.

i checked with school and my app was complete since begining of Oct. I dont know why i am the only who havent heard from UConn.

Mine was completed in August. Haven't heard from them either, but I really don't care about it anymore. I cancelled all my interviews with schools up north. huhhh ... it's too cold.

Its never cold here. Last time I checked it was 72 here in NJ...wait thats my thermostat :laugh:

This is a first time post for me. I've been reading along in the shadows ever since I applied last June. Anyhow, I just got an invite to UCSF! Wish me luck!🙂
 
I received the 1st of approximately 13 or 14 rejection letters that I will receive in the near future.

Receive a notice from U of Louisville. They want me to be patient for final decision. I won't go there anyway...
 
UCSF email to say they would like me to email them to set up my interview.

its a very interesting way of setting up an interview. finally some better news for me.:clap:
