What does it take to get a scholarship at Johns Hopkins?

I hear people in this forum that get partial/full tuition at the school. What does it take? Insane gpa+MCAT? Unique E.Cs? Multiple pubs?

There is no single item or a checklist that will guarantee you a merit scholarship, and it is usually a combination of several factors. The bridge year helps a lot in enriching your experiences and perspectives, besides helping out with merit scholarships.

If you believe in logic: Mission fit and a good impression at the interview. Being very friendly to the financial aid office.

Too bad the process doesn't run on logic. This isn't undergrad admissions.

You are better served determining your costs of attendance and making decisions on the debt numbers you should prepare to bear.
