The schools may view it that the timeline is fine. I guess their thought process is that since classes start in late August, a decision in February/March is ample time to make whatever plans you need to implement (such as moving across the country) is enough. I don't know. The waiting game sucks.

It’s less the actual timeline and more the CHANGING timelines that bothers me. It just changes every single year and I get that’s real life just annoying haha

Meanwhile if we all missed anything on our VMCAS applications we would be entirely disqualified yet lol at none of these schools feel they have to adhere to their own deadlines.

The waiting game for these schools is genuinely stressful WSU is my number one US school (it is cheaper than my IS too) and I was looking forward to Dec 20th just to at least get an answer from someone whether it be a yes or no. I'm slowly losing it

Nobody is cut- those who fall below the gpa preliminary review according to their website just get a different further review

Nope, they stopped oos interviews a few years ago. Only IS and Idaho now

Per their website it seems WICHE might be evaluated differently I think this cut off might have just been for oos non sponsored applicants but I’m not sure!

Yeah that wouldn’t make sense cause I’m an OOS with over a 3.5 and didn’t make it past

I am so sorry this has happened 😔 it doesn't make sense. I hope you are waiting for other schools. This isn't over! 🙂
