The schools may view it that the timeline is fine. I guess their thought process is that since classes start in late August, a decision in February/March is ample time to make whatever plans you need to implement (such as moving across the country) is enough. I don't know. The waiting game sucks.Yea this blows majorly. At what point do they need to make the vmcas due earlier if every year the process gets extended
It’s less the actual timeline and more the CHANGING timelines that bothers me. It just changes every single year and I get that’s real life just annoying hahaThe schools may view it that the timeline is fine. Yes 🥲Ummm did anybody notice this changed! It now says mid-end January 😭
Meanwhile if we all missed anything on our VMCAS applications we would be entirely disqualified yet lol at none of these schools feel they have to adhere to their own deadlines. It’s less the actual timeline and more the CHANGING timelines that bothers me. Yes indeed. The wait is painful. The waiting game for these schools is genuinely stressful WSU is my number one US school (it is cheaper than my IS too) and I was looking forward to Dec 20th just to at least get an answer from someone whether it be a yes or no. I'm slowly losing it
I wonder if they’ll even contact us about the change. As of rn they’ve just changed the website I wonder if they think that’s sufficient and won’t communicate about the change furtherThe waiting game for these schools is genuinely stressful WSU is my number one US school (it is cheaper than my IS too) and I was looking forward to Dec 20th just to at least get an answer from someone whether it be a yes or no. the amount of things I wouldn't know if it wasn't for sdnI wonder if they’ll even contact us about the change. As of rn they’ve just changed the website I wonder if they think that’s sufficient and won’t communicate about the change further
this is so real LOLI just got that email as well but they do not know that I just got a C in biochemistry 😢🤣 the shame....
This is not correct. Rejection letters were sent today as well.Nobody is cut- those who fall below the gpa preliminary review according to their website just get a different further review
Ok I just went off of what their website said, I apologize and deleted that comment! You’d think the reference they give in their emails would be correct info😭😭😭This is not correct. Rejection letters were sent today as well.
I may be mildly tweaking but it is what it is biochem was a worthy adversarythis is so real LOL
No need to apologize! I think that initial re-assessment they mentioned probably already happened.Ok I just went off of what their website said, I apologize and deleted that comment! You’d think the reference they give in their emails would be correct info😭😭😭
I don’t know about everyone else who has made it through/been rejected, but I’m WIMU and got the rejection emailWait what is going on! WSU is my top choice school.. but no email. Was everything sent at the same time? I'm WICHE.
I believe it’s only Washington and Idaho residents who have interviewsOOS passed the screening! Do we get interviews too or no?
I feel like I remember seeing it around 3.4 or 3.5? I hope someone else can confirmWhat’s the preliminary review cut off?

I'm not sure about the cut off, but I have a higher GPA than that and got rejectedI feel like I remember seeing it around 3.4 or 3.5? I hope someone else can confirm
Per their website it seems WICHE might be evaluated differently I think this cut off might have just been for oos non sponsored applicants but I’m not sure!Anybody know if all emails went out same time? Anybody else not get one..?
https://hub.wsu.edu/dvm-admissions/admissions-decisions/ So they linked this in the email about the preliminary round but also it seems the info is contradictory as they make it seem anyone with a 3.5+ GPA passes the preliminary screening. Not sure what the accurate info is:/Does anyone know where I can find info on who passes the preliminary round?
Thank you so much for this info! 😄https://hub.wsu.edu/dvm-admissions/admissions-decisions/ So they linked this in the email about the preliminary round but also it seems the info is contradictory as they make it seem anyone with a 3.5+ GPA passes the preliminary screening. Same boat here 🙁 nonetheless rejection is just redirection. Wishing you and everybody else best of luck this cycle where ever we all go 🫶🏼OOS 2nd time applicant rejection 🙁
Yeah that wouldn’t make sense cause I’m an OOS with over a 3.5 and didn’t make it pasthttps://hub.wsu.edu/dvm-admissions/admissions-decisions/ So they linked this in the email about the preliminary round but also it seems the info is contradictory as they make it seem anyone with a 3.5+ GPA passes the preliminary screening.
