Does anyone here know how easy it is to establish residency as OOS after the first year? Guess just trying to ascertain if there is lot of red tape or not. TIA!

I’ve talked to the admission office and from what I can tell, it’s pretty easy and almost everyone gets it. There’s a lot of information on the website, but from what I can tell they’re really helpful and most people get it! You have to pay rent in washington, get a Washington drivers license, register to vote in Washington, and get car insurance in Washington if you have a car I believe but am not [emoji[emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]]][emoji[emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6]]][emoji[emoji[emoji6]][emoji[emoji6]]]% sure.

Hey all! After much thought and deliberation, I have decided to accept my offer. I am OOS pulled from preliminary screening non-resident pool for those who are curious. Anyways, does anybody have information or mind re-sharing links to social media platform(s) (i.e., discord, etc.) that are being used for class of 2029? Excited to meet ya'll this coming August!

Congratulations on accepting your seat!
For the FB page you'll be added by Amie, but there's another page called WSU CVM Students: classifieds. You should be able to join this group.

Anyone have insight to sizing of white coats? I’m filling out the student forms and it wants me to pick a size it says akin to what you would get a dress shirt or blouse in… I’m in between sizing I’m worried it will be way too big if I size up? Is the coat fitted ? Sorry this is such a strange question 😭

This was something I was wondering about too as I am also in between sizes. Ultimately went on larger end especially if I am going to have layers on underneath. Would rather have extra room that allows me to be more comfortable and I guess could always get it tailored later on if I wanted to make it more fitted šŸ™‚

They are unisex so they run rather large IMO. I typically wear a small (4-6) in other clothes and the small white coat is very boxy/large on me. YMMV depending on your build/body type. Honestly it's more of a memento thing anyway; in 4th year you can get white coats from the scrub machine in the hospital for daily use.
