I looked back at this lynch and this is not how it happened. Snowy didn't swing it anywhere. She was the 4th lynch of the day and there had been next to no talk of moose at that point

I opened the pm with moose at the same time I opened one with Dubz. She was excited to be able to pm and play with me cause she's read KD and my games. She asked a ton of questions like the stuff Stagg has been asking on thread. Nothing that stood out. She told me she had been blocked N1. I hadn't asked my typical anything happen question yet. She gave me her reads which were the same thing she posted on thread. Haven't had a chance to go back and see if there is anything more to the pms than I remember. She was the more active one in the pm

I'm not going to answer for kata, but I want to point out that I've previously answer the bolded several times already. However, I'll clarify further and both Kata and Dolphin can confirm this through my PMs with them. If Moose had flipped village, I believed that either coffee or Mel was wolf. However, before the Coffee role reveal even happened, her and Mel were two of my top choices for wolves. So I had very little confidence in Coffee's seer claim when she started typing in all caps and role revealed. I was also skeptical because it seemed like the same tactics she used with Dolphin, and she ended up flip-flopping off of Dolphin. So I was considering a wolf who cried wolf situation where she'd just waffle again. Idk what the purpose of that would have been, but that's what it felt like to me. On top of that, I wasn't getting a wolfy read from Moose for most of the game (neither was Kara). So no, I didn't just jump up and believe that Coffee was a seer and I had a theory as to why which is now completely wrong since Moose flipped wolf.

You can ask kata to confirm all of that (and Dolphin can confirm some of that as well) in addition to their personal feels from PMs. But that's why I said I didn't think she was a wolf at the time.

lol, I was just thinking the same thing. I think I've usually used it as a wolf gauge for you but I think you've ended up village more times than not when it's happened, so leaning you village

I don't have a problem with your initial reasoning for D1, even if I disagree. I also don't have a problem with that outcome. It's D1 and like I've said it's a crapshoot. What I don't like is that 3 people were were all next to each other in PM line (you-AM-Paws) all waffled after what looked like a signal from both Mel (next to Paws in PM) and the person getting lynched. Didn't sit well with me then. Still doesn't sit well with me. I also don't like it in the context of how votes happened the next day.

No, she wasn't. However I'm less concerned with the outcome and more concerned with the voting pattern and your reasons for the vote. You were the first one to vote for Allie as a pressure vote and you never got off. Why did you stay on when there was no evidence at all, other than she hadn't checked in for a while, that she was a non-villager. What's your reasoning?

I also didn't like that you were the first vote. Then Mel comes on and is like "I don't like Law or Dolphin trains that are starting up. Screw it! I'll vote Allie!" So Moose (now confirmed wolf) waffles and become vote 3. Then AM waffles to Allie making it vote 4. The Law does it out of self-prez (I'm willing to accept that reasoning by law given the order of events). So the Jayne-Am-Mel train all ends up on Allie. Furthermore, Coffee waffles off of Dolphin for reasons that were incredibly sketch at the time, but now make sense with Dolphin's death and role reveal (in context with what we had been PM'ing about). So that's the other end of the potential PM train. I'm going to look into other people for a bit, because I feel like I'm tunneling here and missing some other things that are important, but that's my reasoning.

I'm saying he was 1 of 2 people I would have gone after. The other being Mel for reasons that are now irrelevant. That wasn't my point though. My point was that your logic was an obvious statement that anyone could make but was slightly flippant. Maybe you were just so confident Moose was wolf that you didn't think it was worth more than that, but it's just a statement anyone could make look valid, including a wolf. I see it as basic gameplay fluff that didn't add anything that wasn't already obvious. Not that it was wrong. Again, I might be tunneling, but you haven't really given me a ton else to go off of (like YK/now Dubz).

I'm actually not salty about that and I didn't think MJ was a wolf either. I didn't like the vote or how the post Moose lynch went down. I'm looking into the early MJ voters, but as you can read from my desperate attempts to not get lynched, it was all self-prez. I know I'm a villager, and while I thought MJ was, I'll take the 100% choice (especially when it's me) over whatever % below 100 every time. You're right that I didn't like it, but I didn't like how any of it went down and my issues with your D4 play were from before Moose died.

I actually wasn't as interested in those revealing anything about wolf v village, I was more interested in whether they had to do with the game mechanics as some of his "fun facts" seemed to line up with some events/roles in the game. I was curious if the mods provided a list of fun facts he was taking from, but if he says he just googled them I believe him for now, as what I was seeing could legit have been total coincidence. If it starts pinging my staggy sense again, I'll revisit it, but for now it's tabled.

Yes, but there is a very good reason I haven't used it due to a level of uncertainty about one aspect of it that the mods refuse to answer. Kata has seen the PMs and I am discussing the likelihood of certain things with her in PM

Sorry, but unseerable wolf sounds like a stupid power since it automatically makes someone suuuuper sketch. Has this actually happened in the past? Only time I could see this actually being valid is if you've got an unseerable wolf and unseerable village in the same game. In which case the mods basically took a huge dump on the unseerable village and potentially screwed them over completey. Overall seems really dumb. That's a good question though, @CoffeeQuestionMark why did you not seer me last night?

I mentioned you because you were PM partners with Moose and stated several times you felt she was village in PMs. I was trying to show more evidence that Moose was not coming across as wolfy in thread to several people. I'm glad we were wrong, because it netted a wolf. Considering I've had a hard village read on you all game and you also felt Moose wasn't too wolfy, it played a role. Thought processes of other players matter, and your thought process was relevant to my explanation in that quote. Sorry if you didn't like me mentioning you, but that was my thought process.

To be clear, I'm still reading you as heavily village and nothing I've said about or to you has been intended to throw you under the bus. If someone else had made that implication, it would have set off some alarms for me.

Yes, this has definitely happened in the past. In the Michigan game (whoops) we had a wolf who was unseerable. It doesn't necessarily make the person super sketch. It depends on how the mods have set things up. In the case of my game, the result returned left it unclear to the seer whether they'd been blocked, the target protected, or whatever. It's not like we just returned "error: this person can't be seered." Because if that were the case you're right... would instantly make them super sketch.

There can also be wolves who seer as village. Js. Within realm of possibility.

There have been previous games with unreliable seer results or an additional wolf power can be being seered as village.

What? In the process of finding a wolf you will inherently clear villagers. Someone asking to be seered is normally doing so because enough people think they're a wolf.

Jayna can’t PM with them, she’s in a different group. Or was that your point? That her activity looked coordinated with other villagers despite not being able to PM? I am so confused by whatever you’re trying to say.

But reading back on d1 if that is what Stagg was referring to, it looks like Mel just called Jayna out because she had an earlier post that talked about being suspicious of the former me, not that he had discussed it with her behind the scenes or anything. He talked about the behind the scenes discussion with Paws and AM, not Jayna.

Yeah. You're much more likely to land on a villager than a wolf anyway. Depends on how you approach seering but I tend to ignore the people who are likely to be lynched, because honestly it's better to just test them through lynching, and go for people who are likely to live a while. But there are various ways to go about it. I don't even always seer the people who I am most suspicious of. Being outted changes the strategy a bit, but I'm also wary of seering anyone who explicitly asks to be seered lol
