AM didn’t vote anyone but everyone usually thinks she’s rather helpful. The only logical vote would’ve been Stagg but I saw no point, because I didn’t feel like reading a bunch of people being mad that I tried to tie it last second.

Act 3, Scene 7: A journey through bedlam



Following the end of the conversation with the old man, Kailvan started to feel weird. ‘What’s happening?”

“He’s too good to make into a simple vessel, but I have been left with no choice…”

The picture fades to black, words from a different mouthpiece filled our ears: “I can’t believe I have returned to this place, but soon…. Soon the power shall be mine alone. They will be unable to stop me. I shall exact sweet revenge for the insults imparted on me. I shall rule over both The Vale and Firma.” The voice was unrecognizable. Had they have heard this voice before?

The picture slowly comes back into focus on kailvan, standing in a different area of Bedlam. “Whooo…. Who am I?” He starts to panic. I don’t know anything, I cannot think at all!”

“KAILVAN!”

“Pictures, memories start to flood Kailvan’s brain. He sees himself in his mind as if it was a reflection. “Yes, I was called Kailvan once, many people called me that in fact.”

Another memory rushes in, this time he saw Biek talking to him. “You always have to be a show off, don’t you?”

“I guess… maybe I do…”

Ris started talking in his here, “Why, you worthless medicant…”

“Yup, sounds about right for me, I am worthless…”

Keke flashed into his mind. “I really learned a lot from being with you Kailvan.”

“I doubt it… I have nothing to teach…”

“Kailvan!” Sheath flashed into his mind.

“I…. don’t know… who I am….”

“You were always there for me Kailvan…”

“I’m just so tired…. Let me be….”

“How come you’re always like this? How come you won’t be truthful with yourself?

“I… I am just… an empty vessel…. Now…”

“KAILVAN.” This voice was not imagined, it was not in his head, he could hear it with his ears.

Kailvan opened his eyes. Who… what… wh…”

“Come on, we have to go Kailvan!”

“B…. Biek?”

“Thank goodness you’re alive, we had thought you to be dead.”

“What…. What are you doing here?”

“To save you of course. And it wasn’t easy, but that vessel girl ended up helping us find you.”

“I need you to leave me alone. This has nothing to do with you…”

“Come on Kailvan, this is not something you can do alone, you know that.” Kailvan pushes past Biek walking along the path. “ARE YOU THIS MUCH OF AN IDIOT! It’s not about YOU. OR ME. Or any of us. This is greater than us at this point, and we are our worlds best shot.”

“Shut up…. Just shut up you stupid brat.”


“No, I WONT! You are trying to be the tough guy again. Pretending to be able to do everything on your own. You NEED us as much as we NEED you.”

“Will you please **** up you little twit, there is just some things that kids can not understand.”

As he walked past a doorway of sorts, a porticullis slammed shut immediately behind him, blocking Biek from following onwards.

“Kailvan, please wait up.”

Kailvan pushed onwards. “You are just a babysitting bastard like all the others. But at least I now know that I am the worst bastard of them all.”

That’s when he saw her standing in front of him. “Sheath….”

“You try to do everything by yourself, don’t you?”

“You have to understand…. I just don’t want to cause anyone trouble any longer.”

“Am I your friend? ARE WE ALL YOUR FRIENDS?”

“Of course! I want to think so…. That’s why I always…. But you don’t understand. I am not of the Vale. I was just a hairsbreath short of becoming the destroyer of Bigantria. Of your home. I cannot accept yours or anyone else’s friendship so easily.”

“Kailvan…. You have always protected us. But what you still, somehow, don’t understand is that we looked out for you as well. We watched your back while you watched ours. And we BELIEVED in you that same way that you always believed in us. Just like how you protected us, we in turn want to protect you.”

“Sheath….”

Sheath walked back, hit a button, opening the porticullis. Biek rushed through and met up with them.

“For someone who is so smart Kailvan, you are also so dumb.”

“Where is Keke?”

Sheath and Biek each gave each other looks. “Keke…. He stopped for good…. I am sorry Kailvan.”

Kailvan held back tears.

“I know what we must do. Everyone, follow me!”

On the other side of town, the two jesters had made their way to Terra, and others from The Vale had followed them there, finally ready to extinguish both of them once and for all.

“Brother I think it is time we stop this act.”

“Stop this act, the time it is”

An onlooker from the sky chuckled. “Heh, maybe now they will realize they were not two separate beings at all. But something… weirder….”

Back on the ground, the two court jesters started fusing together, appearing as a giant demon before everyone’s eyes. The demon immediately grabbed their closest nemesis and wrapped them within darkness. “You will certainly see me in hell.” And both the demon, and the general disappeared for good.
Dead is Stagg, Faberta, ANTAGONIST CONVERTED TO VILLAGER, who had 5 total lives (which could have been depleted in one go under certain circumstances), and could attempt two additional kills throughout the game.
Dead is Paws and Dolphin, Taad and Flaad, ANTAGONISTS CONVERTED TO CHAOS, who could inflict status conditions on people each on every other evening. They had two total lives to be used up between the two of them, and upon expiration of both lives, both would die, but they would be able to take one person with them to the grave.
Due to the manner of their deaths, all three cannot be revived.

It is night, with a deadline of 7 am EST. 11 players remain in the game.
