Blackdog: Tribute. We have communicated on a regular basis sense the beginning, and have been active in discussing game strategy.
Kana: Tribute. Have been communicating sense the beginning, discuss game strategy, etc.
District 3
Krist: Convinced he is a tribute. We have been very communicative. No suspicious comments.
SOV: definitely a tribute in my mind...we have communicated a lot and he is very helpful with his experience!
District 4
Nordicat: was investigated and cleared as a tribute.
Nyanko: not sure. She hasn't strategized very much, but hasn't been silent. She had an item and lost it, but I'm not sure if it was used before she lost it or not. I'm not terribly suspicious.
District 7
Packen: I believe she is a tribute, have been talking strategy and she shared her item info with me. I (jjohnston) also believe that she's a tribute, but she has not shared her item or talked strategy with me, even though I asked them both to please share any ideas/strategy 🙁

sheepdogpsu: Even though he/she is unsure about me (thought I don't know why), I believe sheepdog is a tribute.
District 9:
Squirrels: Tribute. I trust her 100%. We've been strategizing everyday. She's been giving district 9 insights into the wolf mind from her previous experience in the Disney game. She investigated me and told me about it right away.
kynumbers: Tribute. I really think she's a tribute. She's been strategizing with me and squirrels daily. She's offered her ideas as to who is suspicious in her mind.

District 10
DVMDream: Tribute. She's been talking/helping with me and Kanderson (until she died) the entire game, and we've both had similar thoughts about circumstances and trying to piece them together. Nothing suspicious.
Shortnsweet: Tribute. We have been discussing game strategy since the beginning. She has not said one suspicious thing to me. She has been quite helpful picking up on little things as well.

Okay, here are my thoughts. I think every night I live through, I get a little bit braver on what I can post...
I was thinking that the wolves are tributes as well, but actually the Careers. There were only 3 careers named in the book; Cato, Clove and Glimmer, but there were 6 total. I've thought of the possibility that there are only 3 wolves and they are these named characters (for the AH ha moment, when they die) but 3 is an awful low number of wolves for such a large amount of players; BUT that would explain why there were no deaths tonight (if they forgot to kill someone) and why so many groups are all tributes.
I do believe that wolves and tributes alike can get items, just like the characters in the story; so I don't think an item is obvious innocence.

However, I did attempt to use it the first night I had it because I had responded to CFC's disclosure of the item before she died. I don't think anyone noticed I said it (including CFC because she restated it even after I'd responded). The items are moving to provide opportunity for action; but this early in the game, it's a difficult decision to make. But I believe they have the potential to fall into the wrong hands. If we have a Peeta and a Katniss, shouldn't we have the other major roles out there too? The drunk guy? Maybe whoever is that guy (if the character does exist--Haymitch? Is that right? I should read these books) could help Katie? Take the rum from her? Or he is making her drunk...she did bold the "who" bit, but I honestly have no idea.
I'm super curious as to why people would not be willing to talk within their districts, as those are the other people we can speak to in private. If you haven't really talked to them (I'm looking at you District 7, 11, etc), that is really going to raise suspicion, at least in my mind.

I think that the people who are active on the forum but are not talking within their groups should be are first suspects unless they can answer for their behavior.
I am hesitant to target cuit just because she is alone in her group. Just because she has limited communication does not mean that she is a worthless player, nor does it mean that she is guilty. Yes, she is suspicious, as has been discussed. I think we should talk about bandirose for a moment. No one is not willing to talk in our group. I was selective yesterday in who I shared my item with (trusted sheepdog as much as one can here in Panem because of being attacked) and so that is why I didn't share with whole district. Wasn't sure who I can trust, that may have been a newbie mistake though. Frankly, I still don't know who to trust.

This is the first time I've been able to get on SDN today. First, my vote is to lynch 1 tribute. The next few things might be out of order but I pulled quotes as I went through the thread:

The fact that she bolded "who" makes me think that someone is giving her the rum. But if it's a wolf trying to keep her quiet, wouldn't they just kill her during a night cycle? So confused...

I'm confused at Packen's timeline of having the item, and now the inconsistency between the different things that you were told, and Packen was told. I'm getting more suspicious about Packen as the day goes on. Hopefully I get more breaks like this at work to come on and figure it out. 😎

Hmmm, maybe it was because I PMed her a bunch about what I could and could not do with it and got the messages confused, but I thought she told everyone who got it the same. I also got the use it wisely comment😕
Both of the libster comments posted earlier refer to baking (13 is a bakers dozen) might be a stretch, but could baking be involved. Peeta was the baker's son.

Sorry if this is confusing, but I had the item yesterday. Not sure what day that is considered exactly, I thought it was Day 3 by my notes, but I guess it was Day 4? I didn't realize the day we voted a mayor was considered a Day.
I asked Dyachei what my item did, I assumed it was a killing item, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. She couldnt tell me, but told me I could use it or pass it on to a specific player. Thought about giving it to PP, but didn't really trust her so I didn't give it to anyone. I was thinking that everyone was given the same directions so I thought that by holding out that info, it would be a good way to see who was lying about having an item and we could use that to trap a wolf.
Off to write a paper. Please don't take my absence as suspicious activity!

I am beyond confused as to why there was no one killed last night by wolves. I can't imagine that players would forget to PM, so I wonder if wolves were silenced or maybe if the other theory of there being no wolves at all is right. But that would be bizarre - not sure the game would follow the book completely down to the fight to the last man standing thing. 😕
I am going to vote to Lynch 1 person today - and hopefully the 3 silenced players can get healed in some other manner. I just don't want to chance lynching 2 people and failing by not getting a wolf.

Libster: think she is a tribute - said she had an item in the beginning and was talking funny (turns out it was the rum), she has been communicating with me on and off since then, not overly talkative, but I think that is cause she is a newbie to the game and still trying to figure it out
NStarz: prob a tribute - we have talked a few times via PM, but not as much as Libster & I. She has said nothing incriminating or suspicious.

That is my vote for now - may change if more info comes to light, but she has seemed suspicious and going to follow the mayor's lead for now. Want to have my vote in in case I pass out from exhaustion of the day
As for my district...
District 1.
Blackdog: Tribute. We have communicated on a regular basis sense the beginning, and have been active in discussing game strategy.
Kana: Tribute. Have been communicating sense the beginning, discuss game strategy, etc.
District 3
Krist: Convinced he is a tribute. We have been very communicative. No suspicious comments.
SOV: definitely a tribute in my mind...we have communicated a lot and he is very helpful with his experience!
District 4
Nordicat: was investigated and cleared as a tribute.
Nyanko: not sure. She hasn't strategized very much, but hasn't been silent. She had an item and lost it, but I'm not sure if it was used before she lost it or not. I'm not terribly suspicious.
District 7
Packen: I believe she is a tribute, have been talking strategy and she shared her item info with me. I (jjohnston) also believe that she's a tribute, but she has not shared her item or talked strategy with me, even though I asked them both to please share any ideas/strategy 🙁
jjohnston: I don't know, not much to go on so for now a maybe.
sheepdogpsu: Even though he/she is unsure about me (thought I don't know why), I believe sheepdog is a tribute.
District 9:
Squirrels: Tribute. I trust her 100%. We've been strategizing everyday. She's been giving district 9 insights into the wolf mind from her previous experience in the Disney game. She investigated me and told me about it right away.
kynumbers: Tribute. I really think she's a tribute. She's been strategizing with me and squirrels daily. She's offered her ideas as to who is suspicious in her mind.
hedgiehog: Tribute. Cleared by squirrels
District 10
DVMDream: Tribute. She's been talking/helping with me and Kanderson (until she died) the entire game, and we've both had similar thoughts about circumstances and trying to piece them together. Nothing suspicious.
Shortnsweet: Tribute. We have been discussing game strategy since the beginning. She has not said one suspicious thing to me. She has been quite helpful picking up on little things as well.
District 11
Libster: think she is a tribute - said she had an item in the beginning and was talking funny (turns out it was the rum), she has been communicating with me on and off since then, not overly talkative, but I think that is cause she is a newbie to the game and still trying to figure it out
NStarz: prob a tribute - we have talked a few times via PM, but not as much as Libster & I. She has said nothing incriminating or suspicious.
I have not received any items yet. 🙁 Although I think I am glad I have avoided the rum

I'd caution you against "clearing" a district-mate just because they're actively stratigizing with you in your group. When I was a wolf in the dog game, I was active in my group and in the thread, I wasn't keeping a low profile. From my point of view this game, the only people I trust are those cleared by Lissarae originally. Which I'm sure you'd think, "Of course she'd think that - she was one of them!" but because I know myself to be a tribute I assume the other information is correct. Anyone can say they've been cleared by anyone else - both could be wolves.
On the subject of items, has no one else been suspicious of Sheepdog's comment about "waking up with the knife"? (underlined for emphasis). There was a knife featured pretty clearly in that murder and I think anyone who had it around that time (and was silenced, as Sheepdog was) needs to be high on our list. I think Bandierose should be up there too; I'm more suspicious of Bandierose than Cuit at this point.
I'm going to look at people who've jumped on bandwagon votes and see if something lines up.

Okay... one more post before hitting the saddle. Honestly I don't 100% trust the list "lissarae" cleared, because it wasn't lissarae who posted it... it was SOV. In my mind SOV and krist have not yet been cleared, they could be wolves who have each others backs and clearing each others stories for all I know. Though, as far as individuals to suspect they have been getting lower on my list.

I agree. the district mate thing is more to see who is at least suspicious, coy with info, etc. I wouldn't count on it.
The cleared list is "cleared by investigation" to me.

What Hedgie and Ky has posted about me is true. I was given the jabberjay at the beginning of the game and all it said was you have the jabberjay, I wonder what conversations he'll overhear. I asked for further clarification and got none. It was an item I had when roles were sent out. I got a PM from Dyachei night 2 asking if I'd like to use it and on who. I choose to use it on Hedgiehog. I got a PM saying a conversation was heard and I was confident she was a tribute (villager), that was all it said. So, Hedgie is cleared for sure. I didn't know I'd lose it after just one use or I would have used it a little wiser because I was already pretty sure Hedgie was a villager (although I was a terrier that was completely tricked by that redhead so I get the you can never be sure thing), but I didn't know until I got the PM the next day saying I had lost the item.
