I checked out the silenced theory yesterday. The only person that didn't post or vote the day that sheepdogpsu was silenced was sunnex, who hasn't posted the entire game and was later lynched and and found to be a tribute.

So if sheepdogpsu is telling the truth, and I believe that he is, a failed wolf attack does not silence the wolf.

I didn't know for sure that I was going to lose it last night. Dyachei said NOTHING about losing it. So I didn't pass it on.

And to be completely honest, the only person I am 100% sure is a tribute is myself. None of the information posted is anything I have learned first hand, and this being my first game, I am a little skeptical of who to believe and who not to believe. People still keep pointing fingers at the people I am supposed to KNOW were cleared, so that seems to create suspicion in my mind. Maybe that is their plan, but it is working.

I'm keeping track of those who have not posted today. So far (besides the players silenced by trackerjackers), it's Nordicat, orca2011, bandierose, squirrelsrule, and libster.

However, I don't think that means they're wolves. I think that at the end of the day, the silenced players may be victims of failed wolf attacks.

I'm with bbeventer on this. I'm not comfortable blindly trusting the cleared list since Lissarae didn't post it and it wasn't brought up until after she was killed. Maybe I'm just super paranoid, but there are very few people that I trust at this point.

If there's an investigator, clearing someone on SOV's list would be a huge help... I would then be inclined to believe the list.

Well, that's the tricky part. If there's an investigator they can't exactly jump out and identify themselves for fear of being wolf bait. If someone has a transitory item, that might be easier. But at the end of the day, the easiest way is to tell DVMDream (our mayor) and have her pass it along. But there's no way to 100% verify that anyone is telling the truth about an investigation. Anyone could PM DVMDream, tell her that they had such and such an item, which they now no longer have (convenient, right?) and investigated so and so and that person is clean. When in reality, both "investigator" and cleared player are wolves.

I'm beginning to think that investigations may not be as helpful as the other games due to the shifting ownership of items. But it's worth a shot, I guess.
 
Lynch 1 Since it doesn't seem that anyone knows who any wolves are. If someone has any info. I'd be willing to change to lynch two.

I am suspicious of Orca 2011, Katie 8, SOV, and jjohnson right now.

I'm going with lynch jjohnson for right now. She seemed to feel the need to explain her choice to lynch Sunnex and I think posted more there then anywhere else. Almost makes me think we almost had a wolf, but she steered us away? She also seems pretty stuck on the failed wolf attack silences a wolf, maybe she wanted to hold onto that knowing that a wolf wasn't silenced 😕. Nothing solid, just a gut feeling.

We are allowed to PM the mayor? I didn't know that, where does it say that? I thought the one veto was the only thing the mayor had above the other players.

I just don't have much to say??!? I am ceaselessly confused about what's going on, probably bc I have no idea what goes on in the book... I don't know what the pin would be for, or the Jabberjay or the leaves... I can look it up, but I don't know what it means for ths game we've got going. That's why I am a lack of contributing information. But above is my addition to the list.

First of all, I'm not silenced. I work from 8-4 pretty much every day this week (except Friday), so I've only just caught up on reading everything.

I will add a little bit to the rum info but I'm waiting from Katie to make sure it's okay. I don't think it would really harm her or anything, but I also don't necessarily wanted to be targeted for supposedly outing someone. Although, this item really doesn't seem to be beneficial at all since she can't participate in any votes or speak normally on the thread.

And I will go back in a second and add what I think of my district members in a minute or two but first I must help my mom unload the groceries.

sorry to worry those of you (emiloo, etc) who mentioned me...i'm fine, ended up picking up an extra shift yesterday after my 3 days of work, and then had some family stuff to take care of ...and on top of that my younger sister just broke up with her boyfriend of one year and was totally torn up about that and had family crap to take care of on top of that....just been a crazy few days. it's probably better i was lynched since i wasn't contributing everything and sorry to have taken up a spot for someone else who might have wanted to play 🙁

So...just another thought, if there's an odd number of people (notice Dyachei made sure District 12 only had TWO people), then we could very well end up with three people the final night, two killed off, and one left alive to be the winner on the last day.

I am going to vote to Lynch 1 person.

As for my district...

District 1.
Blackdog: Tribute. We have communicated on a regular basis sense the beginning, and have been active in discussing game strategy.

Kana: Tribute. Have been communicating sense the beginning, discuss game strategy, etc.

District 3
Krist: Convinced he is a tribute. We have been very communicative. No suspicious comments.

SOV: definitely a tribute in my mind...we have communicated a lot and he is very helpful with his experience!

District 4
Emiloo: Pretty sure she's a tribute; she immediately told us about her investigatory item and has been a useful team member thus far.

Nordicat: was investigated and cleared as a tribute by Emiloo.

Nyanko: not sure. She hasn't strategized very much, but hasn't been silent. She had an item and lost it, but I'm not sure if it was used before she lost it or not. I'm not terribly suspicious. Also not sure, but was also upfront with having the pin (despite thinking I have "no tact" and might blab to everyone :laugh:). I'm thinking she's a tribute, though.

District 7
Packen: I believe she is a tribute, have been talking strategy and she shared her item info with me. I (jjohnston) also believe that she's a tribute, but she has not shared her item or talked strategy with me, even though I asked them both to please share any ideas/strategy.

jjohnston: I don't know, not much to go on so for now a maybe.

sheepdogpsu: Even though he/she is unsure about me (thought I don't know why), I believe sheepdog is a tribute.

District 9:
Squirrels: Tribute. I trust her 100%. We've been strategizing everyday. She's been giving district 9 insights into the wolf mind from her previous experience in the Disney game. She investigated me and told me about it right away.

kynumbers: Tribute. I really think she's a tribute. She's been strategizing with me and squirrels daily. She's offered her ideas as to who is suspicious in her mind.

hedgiehog: Tribute. Cleared by squirrels

District 10
DVMDream: Tribute. She's been talking/helping with me and Kanderson (until she died) the entire game, and we've both had similar thoughts about circumstances and trying to piece them together. Nothing suspicious.

Shortnsweet: Tribute. We have been discussing game strategy since the beginning. She has not said one suspicious thing to me. She has been quite helpful picking up on little things as well.

District 11
Libster: think she is a tribute - said she had an item in the beginning and was talking funny (turns out it was the rum), she has been communicating with me on and off since then, not overly talkative, but I think that is cause she is a newbie to the game and still trying to figure it out

NStarz: prob a tribute - we have talked a few times via PM, but not as much as Libster & I. She has said nothing incriminating or suspicious.

Once I became mayor I never received any information on the position. I did not get any PM's from dyachei about the role at all. The only thing I know is what dyachei said earlier in the thread when Lissa had the role and that is the vetoing one lynch. I am fairly certain that I am only able to communicate with shortnsweet.

Not sure if anything I just said is really helpful, but neither of them is at the top of my suspicions list.

And now onto the rum. Katie8 doesn't know who is giving it to her if anyone. She did ask about it, and was told her losing it and becoming sober is beyond her control, which is why she feels someone must be using it on her. Or it's just random and she's just constantly being assigned it by Dyachei. Also, the rum prevents her from being able to vote, which I guess could potentially mean someone could think she's a wolf and is using it against her to prevent her from killing one. I'm not turning against her or anything, but it could explain why she's still drunk if others are suspicious of her. Like I said earlier, she hasn't done/said anything that has made me wary.

And yes, she can communicate with us normally.

And I'm unsure of how many I want to lynch and who it should be as of right now.

Really? Just for the record, it's actually jjohnston, but it's okay, I get johnson all the time. I always explain my choice for a lynching, so that people know what I'm thinking and why I'm choosing what I'm doing. I wasn't the first or last to choose her and the others had the exact reasoning that I did.

I'm not stuck on the silencing thing. It was an idea I had, and I researched it. I only mentioned it a second time because someone had the same idea that I had and wanted to look at others silenced the same day as sheepdogpsu - I wanted to save that person the trouble and let them know that I did that and it didn't work. I know that in past games it was a strategy.
