Even though it was after the 8 o clock deadline dyachei still hadn't come by and said the voting was over so it was technically still day. Maybe though the wolf just figured that since it was past the set deadline that they could talk again. Although Sheepdog said he was injured for the night cycle too so...The only one I saw that didn't post in that particular cycle was sunnex. I don't disagree that we should be suspecting the wolf was injured and therefore silenced. It just feels like when people go after the person who doesn't talk a lot that we're penalizing someone for having a life.

In the sign-up thread she said she was working 7am-8pm Friday-Sunday. Unless I missed something it doesn't say anything about being absent today. Although I guess she would have only been silenced yesterday if it was for the same amount of time as Sheepdog. This game has me feeling like a dog chasing it's tail.
 
Sunnex is usually a pretty active poster in other threads too, and I just checked, she hasn't posted anything on SDN in days. So I would assume her absence is work related, but I could be wrong. Does being silenced keep you from posting at all on SDN?

when we KNOW that there are investigatory items out there. (going to repeat myself a bit here) Why can't a wolf have had one, and why not consider that wolf might have an investigatory ability? Or even that CFC was randomly targeted? So (since you know for sure that Fireflysushi was clear) why is my being a wolf the only possible reason the wolves could have known that CFC was Peeta?

The last game (only played the dog one) I didn't have surgery lab and it wasn't midterms 🙄. I stated why I was suspicious of Fireflysushi when I voted for her... obviously I was wrong, but I don't think my suspicions were unfounded. I actually almost voted for her first but decided not to.

My question: If I was a wolf why would I vote for my last remaining group member? It's obviously turned suspicion against me. Which is what wolves don't want to do... they point fingers at others. So if/when I get lynched and you guys see I'm just a tribute I'd investigate PetPony and/or Trematode.

I'm still going to hold my vote for now.

As for my lynch vote, Cuit brings up some good points and I really don't want to vote for another villager. For the next few minutes, until I find some better reasoning or just get too tired:

Actually, since dyachei was late, I was still able to vote and my vote did count in the lynching for last night. I voted for fireflysushi, but I wasn't one of the last, I think I was something like the fourth one to vote for her/him.

Even if you consider the day over at the set time and not when dyachei calls it, I'm pretty positive that if you're silenced you can't vote in the lynching. So I was not silenced yesterday. I drove two hours, went on a 6+ mile strenuous hike, then drove two hours back. Anyone also on fitocracy can confirm that, since I logged it immediately, haha.

Ok I'm back. My dog is a loopy mess because they pre-dosed him and didn't do his surgery 😡. The group we rescued him from was doing a fundraiser so we stopped by one our way home and they were all happy to see him 😀.

This is about all I have to go on right now as well. I think SOV gave up way too much info to be a wolf. If he was a wolf, that would be way too risky. And I think Nyanko's personality is too big for some people, but she's straight up most of the time (ok all of the time) :laugh:

Hahahaha. I think CFC used Fitocracy in the Disney game to verify that I was telling the truth about the gym.

Not sure what to think of everything that has been going on here. Can CFC come back from the dead like in the first game?? 😕 Cause in the 2nd game when I think it was WTF who died (?) and we thought that they were trying to come back from the dead we were wrong. PP - I hope you did not just sacrifice yourself for nothing. 🙁 😡

Sadly it is almost 1 AM here in Dublin and I have had a long day and have to get up fairly early to play tour guide some more to my dad. :laugh: So I have to put in a maul vote now - can't wait until the deadline.

I think I am going to go with sunnex at this point. I understand that she had a busy weekend with work and what not, but I have been ridiculously busy as well and so have a lot of other players. We have all at least gotten on and posted at least once a day if not more. Something just does not add up - either she just does not have time at all and shouldn't have played this time around (as she has been fairly active in past games) or perhaps she is a wolf. I dunno. So since I don't have the luxury of seeing this play out.

Nyanko - sorry, "come after" was too strong a word choice. I feel like my initial suspicion was justified because I did think you had been hinting at asking who had the pin. In retrospect, if the pin was essentially useless (or had no function that you could control, which is basically what you and Lissarae both said), asking after who had it wouldn't have been a big deal anyway. Sorry to come after you myself, I'm just used to the wolf mindset from my first game and am adjusting to a different one for this game as a tribute.

As for sunnex - we're in the same district. My district has not PMed at all. I didn't initiate because of histology but neither of the other two did. I can assume Sunnex didn't because of her schedule but bandierose has been active. I sent out a PM to both today and have received no response - including bandierose who has already posted tonight. I can't exactly knock either for not PMing, only that's it's weird neither of them initiated. Although sunnex and I have excuses - I'm not sure what bandierose's is. I don't want to lynch someone in my group, especially for the same actions I've been doing myself (active in thread, not sending any PMs).

I think we need to watch Petpony, though. By claiming one of the most important roles (or so I assume Katniss to be), she's huge wolf bait; you would think she'd keep it secret to protect herself but may be using it to clear herself. If the wolves don't go after her tonight, I think she needs to be investigated at the very least.

Yeah I agree with the PP thing too... she either said that to avoid being lynched by us, or she really is *whatsherface*. Either way, I'm slightly suspicious as well.... :idea:

Ding, Ding, Ding!! Totally agree. Very odd behavior revealing ones self, and it accomplished nothing. She was in no threat of being lynched, we are no closer to figuring out the Peeta/Katniss issue, it just does not seem to be very strategic unless she is a wolf trying to get the real katniss to out herself by saying "wait no you arnt, etc."

I don't know why, but I kind of agree with this last buit. For some reason, Petpony's declaration of her as Katniss just rubbed me the wrong way. I honestly can't really explain it, and don't have anything else to go on other than it just felt off, especially if there is a potential to bring back Peeta or get some sort of items out of it that could benefit the villagers. I'm all for providing information to clear oneself, but I feel like that role is something sooo important that I don't think I would have just blurted it out like that.

And I'm going back to this whole SOV thing. Even if Lissa was using a random number generator, I still don't understand why she would vote for TRD if she had cleared her. I think we're missing something.
 
Maybe she's a wolf, or maybe she has an item that if attacked would kill a wolf so she's looking to be attacked? Or maybe I'm thinking too deeply? I don't know what to think or who to go for.

According to my notes, she voted for thatredhead on Day 3 and she supposedly cleared her name in during night 3, so she wouldn't be able to change that vote. Or at least that's what I thought SOV and Krist were trying to say. It's possible I misread and I'm too lazy to go back and figure out what was actually said, so please correct me if I'm wrong. And I'm not necessarily defending them, but if what they say is true, it does seem possible that she could have voted to lynch thatredhead before she cleared her.
 
Well I will check back in an hour. In the mean time I really need to study some developmental.

Well, she said it right after I voiced my suspicion of her and Trematode so she's probably trying to clear herself. I think they both need to be investigated.

You know, I'm really considering not voting to lynch anyone because if I somehow survive this (and am not killed overnight) and the person I vote for turns out to be a tribute then I'm back to suspect #1. Ugh.

That is pretty much it.

Again, I said from the beginning, we didn't know how LissaRae got that info. She certainly didn't tell us. I just relayed it to try to help. So don't be killing the messenger.

I'm a little curious as to how four people were cleared in the span of three nights. It seems that most of the items are lost within one day--the pin, the pack. Emiloo had an investigative item one night which was last the next day too. Obviously there can, and hopefully are, more than one investigative item but if they follow the pattern of other items it seems unlikely that one could clear four people in three nights.

That seems strange. I know lissa chose items and roles by random number generator and I'm not sure if dyachei did the same thing. However, it doesn't seem likely that dyachei would make it that obvious for us and that petpony would get the role she requested. Makes me super suspicious, actually, that she's not being truthful.

Lissa voted for that redhead during day 3 BEFORE that redhead was cleared during night 3.

I'm not disagreeing... I do think it's weird. But honestly, each of these games are different since we have different mods, so why can't it be possible for 4 people to be cleared in 3 nights? Again, not defending them, but in reality, we don't know the rules , so we can't necessarily pretend that everything is the same as it has been in the past. I was just trying to explain how it is possible that she could have voted against someone, but later cleared them. That is all.
