That's why I couldn't vote for her. She hasn't been anywhere and that is sooo unlike her. Even with work, she is usually on, posting on another thread at some point or another. Hoping everything is alright as well.

I just went and rechecked the day after the failed wolf attack. Everyone posted at least once, but there were three players that didn't post until after the 6pm "official" deadline, so it would technically be the next day even though dyachei hadn't called it yet. But... all three of those people's votes counted, so there's no way they could've been silenced. Damn it. The only person *truly* silent that day was Sheepdogpsu, who claims to have been the victim of the failed attack and I tend to believe that.

So... basically... I've got nothing useful.

Then i was told I was silenced for that days cycle which I took to mean day and night because that is what has been the case in the last games I've played. Agreed on both parts. I voted simply because this game is getting a little tedious without information... and maybe if we eliminate people who haven't given info (for *whatever* reason), we can hopefully get somewhere...

I also agree that the HP movies left a lot to be desired in my mind, but maybe I just have too high of expectations in my head after reading the books.

Like there are no wolves, is that what you're saying? How are people dying every night then? Or there are wolves and villagers but can only be one winner 😕. If that were the case, there could be no winner since in the end both would vote to lynch eachother, of course one would have to be mayor if we keep following the elect a new mayor when one dies thing, so that one could veto the vote against themselves and win, or be the one to decide in a tie like last game. If two wolves were left, the last night wouldn't they kill each other. I'm thinking this is more a normal WW game than that, although there could be some kinda twist to it, there has to be something since there are so many players. I would have thought if there were two teams of wolves like last game they would have accidentally taken one of their own out by now, so maybe they just get two votes and that's all that's special. Or another possibility is that someone in one of the wolf packs discovered a wolf in the other wolf pack and the two packs are now communicating. That seems a bit far fetched though.

UH hello, knife was a potential murder weapon earlier. Sheepdog, you need to explain stat because if had the knife and were then silenced, I'd bet the farm you were the killer...

I'm starting to worry about her as well. I hope everything is ok. However, I do agree that maybe it was best to lynch someone who isn't able to be active anyway. Although, I highly doubt she was wolf bait for it, so she may have been one of the last ones standing lol. Oh well. DVMdream begins counting off tributes, "I keep getting 27, but that can't be right - that's how many we were last night!"

Orca2011 replies, "maybe we got lucky last night?"

The tributes cheer for each other - none of them are dead! That's when the screen overhead darkens.

Plutarch Heavensbee looks very uncomfortable with the proceedings but continues, "As there were no deaths tonight, the council has decided that we need to spice up the games. Sorry, tributes."

A swarm of trackerjackers are released in the general area. After the ensuring chaos, they are gone again. nyanko, blackdog618, and petpony are badly stung and delirious. They are silenced until further notice (this includes nightly activities if you have any).

Plutarch comes back, "We have a deal for you. We will fly in salves for you IF you kill 2 tributes tonight instead of 1. The choice is yours."

Luckily tonight's no deaths pretty much quashes that thought. It could have been random generator of deaths by dyachei, but it seems unlikely she would randomly pick no deaths.

Lets focus on what we do know.

My thinking, we don't have enough info on wolves yet. We can lynch 2 when we have a better chance. In the meantime, there are 3 players we don't have to think about. That means the investigators can focus on the fewer live threats. This might play in our favor if the investigators get their acts together and pick the right people.

plus perhaps a wolf is incapacitated as well. Fine with me. Perhaps less death?

All speculative either way, but I prefer more time for the investigators, with fewer people to investigate than less.

As for the lynch vote, I will wait, hoping to hear some good news from our seers/investigators!

Final thought before I get to work.... maybe the wolves forgot to kill people. We might think that the people up latest are less likely to be innocent, and those that stopped posting earlier are more likely. It is probably crap argument, hope we have something better to go on.

Can whoever had the backpack before confirm this: I recall the person with the backpack saying there were some leaves in it. In the book Katniss and Rue carry around leaves in their packs because when chewed up and applied to the wounds the leaves take the venom from the trackerjacket stings. It stops the crazy dreams. Maybe in our game whoever has the pack, provided it's not one of the silenced three can use it to save them.

It doesn't say. They will remain silence according to dyachei's post. In the book if you are stung enough you will be killed. I'm hoping that since they are just silenced now they won't take a turn for the worse and die.

I was the one who mentioned the leaves. Kanderson had the survival pack with leaves in it before she died. Don't know where it ended up.

My thought is that tonight the pack could be used to save the silenced people with the leaves. Of course this idea only works if the pack isn't in the hands of a wolf or one of the silenced three.

Wow, interesting turn of events. I have a few thoughts.

Re: no deaths. Perhaps the attacking wolf was silenced or injured and couldn't attack. I really, really doubt they forgot to vote but it isn't impossible. May someone who isn't active had a killing item and didn't use it. The thing is, two players were killed the first night, presumably both by wolves (unless someone wants to confess to one of the deaths). Maybe they had to give up a later killing in order to hit two on one night.

Re: the silenced people. After some thinking I feel like Petpony is more a risk to keep around than not lynch. Unfortunately I wanted to ask her about her role today and she's silenced. If she is indeed a wolf, she can't attack anyway so I suppose leave her for now.

Re: lynching one vs. two; I don't know. My first inclination is to only lynch one and keep those silenced who are silenced. If attacks decline I guess we can assume one or all of them are wolves. However, this is an opportunity to try and get two wolves with one stone. Unfortunately I don't think we have enough information, so for now I'll agree to only lynch one.

Sucks that a few people were silenced though. I hated being silenced...it was the worst thing ever, especially when you have information and can not relay it to anybody.

I wonder why no one was killed though....😕. Could it have been failed attack? I doubt the wolves forgot to send a PM but anything could be possible.

Sorry to those who are silenced but it is going to be really difficult to locate a wolf when we have no information and I don't want to risk losing two tributes.

I also agree with thatredhead, I have been suspicious of bandierose since the beginning. I don't know why but she doesn't post much (I know silence isn't always bad) but when she has posted the information has not been helpful.

At this point I am going to hold off on my lynch vote unless some new information comes up to help us out.

So I have this theory, and a couple of people have mentioned it, but it does play into the whole Hunger Games concept.

I think we are killing each other. Last night I had the bow and arrow, and I was reluctant to use it on anyone because I didn't feel confident that anyone what definitely a wolf. This morning I lost the weapon. What if there are no wolves? What if it is just the people that have the weapon at that given time that are the threat (like in the book)? What if we are really all just fighting each other?

It was this comment that made me start to ponder this theory. I know my idea might make me look suspicious, but if I were a wolf, why would I get a bow and arrow when I could just kill someone anyway?

I tend to agree on Bandirose. I know it doesn't mean Bandi is a wolf, but it sure seems like a wolf silently stalking it's prey!
I have to say, just from playing with Hedgie in the past, you are definitely acting completely different this game than last game. I don't know if that is because your role is different this game, or whether you learned from the last game, but I haven't seen you claiming "I swear I'm a villager with no items" six times a day.... hhmmmm
