Got an official waitlist email for the MD/PhD from admissions, interviewed mid-January and sent a letter of intent early February. The wording, honestly... "to offer you a place on our waiting list" I nearly had a heart attack at the first half of the sentence 🤬

I was lucky enough to snag a T20 the other day so i’m chilling. However I really like Boston as a city and you never know what kind of aid you will get, ya know what I mean?

congrats!! Was it from the general admissions or from your interviewer?

It was from an email/name I didn't recognize (like a normal human person's email) and general FYI- my portal hasn't updated and my "status" is still deferred, so I don't think that'll be the first place to update.
