This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Do people typically get a deposit link before receiving their letter?

people have said that before but it seems like nobody recently has said anything about getting one yet :(

Lol don't sound the alarms yet! I'm guessing it's because it's getting later on in the cycle and they want people to know stuff faster to avoid deposits etc.

Could a current student please answer a question for me? Thanks!

When I was accepted back in January, I got both the email and mail on the same day.

now i'm getting worried...not only accepted ppl heard their status, but WL people too. i hope no response doesn't mean rejection omg. do you think they're staggering their decisions or did they did it all in one big swoop today?

Congrats to all recent acceptances! If you have any q, feel free to ask. Was in your position a couple of years ago :)

Does anyone know if the waitlist gets good movement? Waitlisted as well. :(

Thanks! So you're a current student, then?
I'm curious about how first and second years are scheduled. So, it looks like classes generally start in August and run to May. Is that right? Also it looks like y'all have winter semesters. How does that work?

Thanks so much!

If you don't mind, I also have a question. Where can/do 3rd and 4th year students rotate (the hospitals, etc.) in the Atlanta area?

Yeah, I've been looking at those, but I was wondering more specifically about exactly when classes start, how long summer breaks are and how winter semesters work, i.e. How long, whether or not there's a Christmas break, etc.
I believe the second link has the info you're looking for. Scroll down a few pages and it has a pretty detailed schedule including length of breaks and the days they begin and end.

I'll double check. Must have missed it in my first pass through the catalog.

If you don't mind, I also have a question. Where can/do 3rd and 4th year students rotate (the hospitals, etc.) in the Atlanta area?

For this year, these are the hospitals in the surrounding Atlanta area that PCOM-GA is affiliated with. Keep in mind, for our class only 40 out of our class of 135 is able to rotate in Atlanta while the remaining must go to other sites. This may change by the time you are ready to rotate because they are trying different things out with the rotation.

Thanks for answering questions. Could you elaborate on the things they are trying out with the rotations? How will they affect rotation in the Atlanta area?

So, we're supposed to pay our deposits through Banner Web? I don't see an option to do so, when I log on.

The link will probably appear tomorrow.

On a side note, my letter was delivered yesterday.

So I'm assuming they're done interviewing here? Especially for OOS students?

i think there's 2 more dates this month for interviews. i don't know if the second date had invites sent out

They are interviewing on the 11th and then I think one more before April. So technically no they have not stopped interviewing.

anyone get a letter today? not me hahaha

For those accepted, what login did you use to get on to nucleus?

I applied to GA-PCOM and interviewed back in November but was placed on MCAT hold. I since then retook the January MCAT and sent my scores in about two weeks ago and followed up with an email. I still haven't heard back. Anybody else in the same predicament? If so, have you had any correspondence with admissions?
