It appears we both interviewed at Meharry on same the date, now we're interviewing at Howard on the same date, Oct 9th.
No my interview is tomorrow, Oct. 8th.

Got accepted to Meharry so I am going to withdrew my app.
I already interviewed this Tues. But I really think I was rejected or waitlisted.
Interview was not difficult, it just that I was off my game that day. But it worked out in the end because I going to be a Meharrian.��

They said they send out decisions on the 15th of each month, but Ms. Walk made it seem that the first notifications wouldn't go out until November 15th...but I also interviewed on one of the first days, so they may still have been figuring out the timeline.
well for the most part the interview was conversational. But my interviewer seemed like she was expecting certain answers from her questions. So if you did not say what she was looking for, she was not impressed.
But honestly I wouldnt stress over the interview. They only interview 300 students out of the 7000 or so that apply so once you get an interview invite they pretty much are sold on you, unless you blow it. Thats what the med students told me.

There's parking down the street at the hospital. I think I paid $8 or something around that for being there from ~7:45 to 3:45.

II today. Complete 8/27.
Not sure about Oct. 9th, but received an email 2 days ago (interviewed on 9/24) stating:
"We will email you when the decision letter has been signed by the Associate Dean and mailed on or around November 15. We are not able tell you the decision before the letter is signed.
When you receive that email, you may call to find out the decision."

Hi Everyone! Does anyone know about what month Howard usually fills their "class" and starts wait listing people? I just submitted my secondary two weeks ago due to some trouble with my study abroad transcript, and I am abroad now with Fulbright....so it made everything super difficult. I really concerned because I know many people have already interviewed! AHHHHH I am so nervous!

Anyone interviewing November 12th?
does this school use the best section score if you took the MCAT multiple times? If so, my MCAT would go from 27 to 28. I am a URM black male 3.25 c and s gpa. GPA is on the low side but I am first generation, economically disadvantaged, lived in underserved area all my life.
I know my interview was horrible. They ask me to reinterview but, I decline because I already got accepted to other institutions that were higher on MY list than Howard.
Can you elaborate? What was horrible? Was the interviewer unfair or something?
I was just off key that day but, if I was my normal self I know I would have received an acceptance.

For those that will eventually gain acceptance, you will have the opportunity to become part of a great legacy. Howard brings in great people and trains them not only to be great physicians but community leaders. My 4 years went by fast! Be blessed future Bisons!
I submitted my II 11/1. Does anyone have a timeframe on when Howard would send an interview request if they are interested?
Wow! So Howard gives "select" applicants an opportunity to re-interview just because someone was "just off key?" I don't mean to sound inconsiderate but if thats the only reason that you were asked to re-interview while tons of other applicants are anxiously waiting for a chance to interview then I would say Howard is so unfair and ridiculous!
II = interview invite. I'm assuming you meant to say you submitted your secondary on 11/1? Nobody can really provide you with a time frame because it's a really subjective process; some people get II's relatively soon after while it takes others months to receive one...then there are those who don't get one at all. GL to ya!
still waiting for an ii ~ complete 10/18 (or around that date). How long did it take others? Sorry, I know this question is asked a lot...but I ask anyways 😀
