Don’t count yourselves out yet hbcu’s run late into the cycle unfortunately they are often operating with small admissions departments and not the most advanced software so everything is being done basically by hand I personally don’t plan to start acknowledging potential defeat (rejection/ghosted) until like late March but that’s just me remain optimistic my first and only interview invite so far came from a school I had already written off as a rejection so just stay positive January was a buffer month imo with coming back from the holiday and stuff so yeah just a lil sprinkle of hope

I went to their First Friday and I got a good vibe from the students and faculty. As for information, I know they said the March FF is their last for this cycle. They also just said to be yourself in interviews. They also interview into April

I’m curious too but I don’t think you’re cooked. Those emails just mean they got it and confirmed all your stuff is right it doesn’t mean they read and made a decision on your file yet

during my interview we were told that they interview around 450 people and they aren’t close to that number yet so don’t worry!! they also interview into april i believe.
