Do you know if she meant to decide this week or make the calls this week?

I'm pretty sure after May 1 they have to notify you as soon as a decision has been made. So both I'm assuming.

I will be applying next summer to Marshall. I will also be taking the MCAT and was wondering if any of the people who got accepted took biochemistry before the taking the new MCAT?

Yes, biochemistry is essential for the new MCAT in my opinion.
