so I'm retaking my mcat this friday (7/19) but I also submitted my AIS (ACT- 31) do you think they're going to wait until my new score comes out on august 20th to decide if I get an interview?

Thank you! I don't mind! I submitted my secondary on 6/21 and it was processed on 6/22. Overall undergrad GPA:3.89, Science GPA:3.89, MCAT 502, current master's GPA 4.00, FL resident, attended Medical mission trip, worked as Patient Care Navigator in hospital.

I also attended their open house last year and they informed us they keep track of students which attend the open houses when it comes to application time, so I recommend attending one if you are able.

mine says something similar but not quite the same, kinda odd. This is what mine says

Your application has been processed and will be sent to the Admissions Committee for further review. You will be notified as soon as a decision has been made.

My application changed to this status about 4 days before my II.

It sucks because LECOM is a school notorious for silent rejections...basically, your status never changes and you never hear anything...

Which is odd, I know that the LECOM locations are completely separate, but I received an II from Erie and was hoping that meant I had a chance at Bradenton, as well.

It appears that II have only gone out on 7/12(according to SDN users reporting) so I wouldn’t go crazy with silent rejection talks. It’s still very early.

Not sure if I'm correct in thinking this, but I've noticed a lot of people receiving II to one and not the other, wondering if they hold off inviting to another interview if you've already received one. I have an II from Bradenton, but not Erie as of right now.

Yes same here, was expecting Erie as they have first pick for rotations etc. Though I live closer to Bradenton...

I’d imagine they have issued out less than 10% of their II invites(uninformed speculation). So yeah, take a deep breath.

I received the email for an interview at Erie and Bradenton within the same week...However, I was extremely lucky to have a very strong referral from a current 3rd year at Erie (one of my best friends growing up) and I think this played a big factor.

LECOM Bradenton sent me an email asking for my AIS because they never received my MCAT or they think I scored below the 40th percentile. I was in the 44th percentile. My AIS (combo of GPA and ACT) is 122 (their median is 120). What are the risks associated with not giving them my MCAT and just using AIS?

EDIT: I just went ahead and used my AIS score. I heard on last year's thread that above 120 is competitive. Wish me luck!
