+1 OOS WL just now, I will be withdrawing my spot and hope it opens up for one of you! Good luck!

Has anyone OOS been accepted so far with a 500 or close to a 500 MCAT?

I submitted my secondary (OOS) 7/25 and have not heard a single thing since. Should I reach out to them? A bit concerned ._.
They don't send updates unless you get an interview invite. I submitted early June and my application said “in review” on the portal for three months until I randomly got an interview invite in September. I probably wouldn’t reach out to them, they most likely won’t reply about a status update! I haven’t heard back from my interview yet and it’s been a while.

Has anyone submitted the $1500 deposit? Had admissions been helpful to answer questions?

For those that applied to multiple campuses, did you have to pay multiple times or does one submission cover the rest?

Are there any current LECOM Bradenton students that would be willing to answer some questions about the school?

If people have already been put on the waitlist, and I have yet to submit my interview, does that mean that my interview will automatically be for a waitlist or rejection?

+OOS II on 11/1 and completed it on 11/6
Does anyone know the general turnaround time for a decision? I'm hoping to hear back before Christmas eve..

This is a mystery that we would all like to know, unfortunately. For some relatively quick, for others, you may never hear back. I completed my interview in early August and attended the on-campus day and have been completely ghosted. Take that for what it's worth. Sorry, it wasn't a very helpful answer.

Anyone know where I can get in contact with a current student to ask them questions about the program?

Was hoping for MD interviews, but have not gotten anything. Received LECOM II in July, but actually paid the $50 11/1/24 after MD started to look bleak. Got interview 11/15 and completed 11/21. Planning to do On-campus day on 1/24/2025. Anyone else on a similar path?

+1 IS II! First one of the cycle. Any tips for the interview?
Just took it 11/21

GENERAL INFO: There are 6 total question. #1 is a practice question which you can redo 3-4 times (This one is not scored). #2-5 are ~60s videos that end with an interview question. #6 is a text interview question. You have 30s to read it and think, and 120s to record your response. No redo's for questions #2-6. There are no requirements for you to fill up all 120s, but I think its in your best interest to do so. The whole thing beginning to end takes about 30 mins.

TIPS: I would recommend prepping by answering some generic interview questions, but record yourself and watch it back to get comfortable with speaking intelligently for a solid 2 minutes. There is no conversational "back and forth" like a normal interview, so its certainly something to adjust to. Look and present to your camera rather than the screen. I said "um" or "uh" 34 times during my first practice and didn't even realize it.

AFTER: For anyone curious, the "interview advice" Zoom call that LECOM offers explains the Vidcruiter interview is reviewed and scored by two independent faculty members at LECOM. This is passed on to the ADCOM who takes your Vidcruiter results in consideration with your application. This is then passed onto the dean who makes the final decision. Of course they said rolling admissions could mean decisions could be 2 weeks or 6 months.

Same for me. No FL MD interviews yet, and 2/3 OOS MDs turned into WL. Already put my LECOM deposit down.

Just finished the asynchronous interview! Not my fav format, but def not the most stressful either.

I've been waiting for over three months for LECOM-Erie to get back to me post-interview... how long do y'all think LECOM-Bradenton will take for a decision?

submitted the virtual interview 11/12. haven't heard back yet. curious if anyone interviewed and has information on whether they did/did not attend the in person day and if they got in? for the erie campus, I have heard that attendance to in person day did not factor in to their decision but the email for the bradenton on-campus day stated there would be a group interview so I feel like that is a part of the interview process, no?

I didn’t go to the on campus day event and still was accepted. And from what I’ve heard it isn’t an “interview” for the event, it’s more of a just getting to know you.

+1 in-state R for LECOM-B. I got into the Erie campus 🤷‍♀️ I really thought my odds were better for Bradenton as a FL resident. Not complaining though. Good luck to everyone else, hope you get the A!

Congrats on Erie campus! Did your portal update today and you receive letter for both today?

Thanks! Got my Erie A update yesterday and my Bradenton R update today! it’s funny that the decisions were a day apart because I interviewed for Bradenton way before I interviewed for Erie.

Literally the exact same situation LOL, doing on-campus day on 1/10/2025. No MD interviews at all and started sending out DO apps in October/November. Just applied to LECOM-Erie.

Hello! Canadian applicant here! Couple of questions:

1) I got the invitation to fill the supplemental application a week and a half ago. When I have to pick a campus, do they only consider me for that one? Can I not say any campus? If I can't, what do you guys recommend in terms of feasibility of getting in.

2) also in the supp app, I had to enter residency status. Since Im canadian I selected non resident but it still asked me for a residency card number. Whats that about?

I emailed them and they sent me a doc saying foreign students need to show proof of funds, but when I asked them where I coukd submit that proof, they haven't replied despite multiple followup emails. Anyone know?

Thanks!

I completed my secondary. I am a transfer student with a severe MVC that led to voluntary withdrawal, but LECOM wants me to either do their Master's of Biomedical Sciences or is considering me for a D.O. I am grateful for either option. I am glad I am alive!

Hey all. Completed my secondary for LECOM in July, got my II early November, and just heard back from them today to be invited for an in person campus day tour. I registered for it. Is this a good sign, I’ve been told this is usually a good sign.

Can we bring family for the on-campus day, or is only the student invited?

I went to the on campus day in Erie in December and I would say about 60% of people came alone and the other 40% had one or both of their parents with them!

When I went there back in August for on-campus day, I didn't see much family (if any) come with students. There was a group interivew portion and PBL sit-in that I don't think family would be allowed to do.

But when I toured recently (after my A) they said family could come.

Hm I think everyone invited for an interview gets an On-Campus Day Invite. If you're interested in the school, it is a great opportunity to go and participate though, and can strengthen your chances!

Got the A this morning. It seems like they want me to pay $1500 by EOD. Is this the usual?
When did you interview? Were you part of 11/22 (due Dec.5th) interview invite group by any chance?

Also, to answer your question, it is normal to pay a deposit of that amount for D.O. schools to reserve your seat.
If by EOD you mean end of day, the website says "Nonrefundable fee due 30 days after receipt of acceptance. The matriculation fee is applied toward the tuition and fees upon matriculation. (referring to the $2000 deposit)" I would find that to be odd for them to expect that to be payed on the same day of acceptance.

My offer letter says I have to make my decision no later than the 10th of Jan. They called and left a voicemail saying the offer letter was sent out on 12/20. However, the portal still says DUE NOW for the deposit.

I’m very confused and I’m gonna send an email.

OOS II today. Secondary sent 11/24. Excited but seeing the recent wave of user posts makes me think I’m fighting for WL spots at this point. 😅

Oh, the "DUE NOW" doesn't mean that it is literally due on that day. It says that as soon as you have gotten the A. You can deposit it until the 10th.

Hello! I want to apply this month (i know I'm super late in the cycle). My stats are 3.0 sgpa and 3.3 cgpa and an MCAT of 509. Is there any chance I can make and is it still worth applying? I really want to start this fall, so looking for any advice especially from current students who may know the landscape.

Just did my interview. Do you guys think most people will be fighting for WL spots or do I have a realistic shot at an A?

Has anyone who received an interview invite on 11/22 (due Dec.5th) heard anything back yet?
