Congrats all on the IIs! Did y’all get emails or did it show up on your portal?

II! I saw that 87% of the class last year was in-state. Anyone able to find what the post-interview acceptance rate for OOS is?

Hii, kinda late applicant here- working on secondary rn. The research I did hasn't been published yet, it's actually being reviewed rn by a journal. I am second author on it (if it gets accepted) so I definitely talk about it alot in my primary. Should I submit my unpublished manuscript to the secondary? Or maybe the poster presentation I did?

I would upload the poster presentation since thats kinda more "official" at this time. Idk, just my 0.02

I'm assuming they are not doing MMIs because it's a virtual interview... right?

Does anyone know if we get an interview at the Lebanon campus, that we will not be considered for the Pomona campus?

I saw a post from someone awhile back about interviewing and being accepted at both campuses. I assume they're totally separate admissions processes and you can be fully considered for both!

So I just got my AACOMAS application verified. How long does it take for them to send me a secondary?

Thanks.

so i submitted my secondary on 8/29 and when i log back in, all things have green check marks but i havent received my complete email yet? How do I check the status of letters and stuff? I sent it through interfolio and im not sure if they were received.

I believe the consensus is that Western doesn't send complete emails. I had my letters sent from Interfolio as well, and when they were received, I got two additional lines on my application checklist (Reference-Physician and Reference-Science Professor) with the date received and a green checkmark. They showed up about two weeks after my secondary was submitted, but I never got an email--just had to check the portal.

Secondary received, I think it took ~12 days for future reference. I wouldn't be surprised if that number increases as more people get their primary in though.

I filled out the secondary but when I go to "Preview Application Proof", everything looks very blurry. Is that normal? I don't want to submit it until this gets corrected, and haven't had any luck getting through to Adcoms to discuss this...

Can any current student(s) give me some insight on what the curriculum is like, what they like about the school, and what living in Pomona is like? Any general info would also be welcomed.

submitted my secondary yesterday and sent my CASPER score yesterday as well. does anyone have an idea of how long it takes for them to receive the CASPER score?

In the portal on the checklist, does it have an (x) next to letter of recommendation if it is not yet received. Or does it update with a check when they are there?

For people who have scheduled their interview for tomorrow, is there a specific link to attend the student mixer?

For anyone that interviewed, how is the setup? Are all questions (including ethical) asked within the traditional panel interview or are there MMI sessions?

hey! there's a main session with a presentation about the school and an ice breaker, then we split off into interview groups (2-3 students and faculty interviewing you, but its traditional). each interview is 30 min! I found my interview to be very pleasant and super casual! I thoroughly enjoyed my interview day experience 🙂

Thanks for the info! Are you saying there's two interview sessions? One with students and one with faculty?
