I’m sorry to hear that happen to you, they said during our interviews that if we are on the waitlist there will be constant communication updating us about our chances of getting off.. lo and behold i haven’t heard anything from them and classes start in two weeks :/ so stupid that schools can just ghost us or not communicate and we have to last second scramble and get everything together if we get accepted close to the start date…

They mentioned communicating rank but did not, mentioned decisions would be sent soon and did not, and were late to give decisions to almost every interviewee this year (per the communicated time). It’s worrisome especially since they mentioned giving feedback to those who didn’t get off the waitlist. Now I am unsure if they will even do that fast enough to apply early.

never getting off the waitlist was truly devastating for me. I am so blessed to have gotten into an amazing OOS program that I will be happy to attend but having to move on from fsu com has been so hard! 💔 I went here for undergrad and was dying to come back for med school, but sadly it just wasn’t in the cards for me. wishing the best of luck to all of you who were also holding out hope and know we will be amazing doctors one day regardless of the program we attend. sometimes the universe just has other plans for us and the resilience we’ve had during this process is helping pave the way for our success in medical training! I think they likely filled the class last Friday since everyone had to commit so quickly and just didn’t send rejections yet in case one or two happened to drop for some reason.

This makes more sense because I thought that Cycletrack for last year did show a big wave of R's that went out early April.
