There are still a handful of students on the groupme waiting to hear back from other schools. On April 30th, everyone who holds multiple acceptances will have to commit to one school. So you should expect some waitlist movement around that time.

Ok but what is the specific CTE date for drew? I don’t see it anywhere on their site

Right now there are about 80ish ppl accepted. And the class is 60. So there would need to be over 20 ppl that withdraw in order to pull from waitlist, just wanted to give yall a heads up. It might be a while

Yeah definitely! A lot of ppl are still deciding or waiting on waitlist at the moment so there could def be movement but probably closer to mid-end of may

I think this whole over accepted thing is a little bit of speculation bc a large amount of those people could have declined and not left the group or are in the group prior to being accepted. April 30th is CDUs CTE so I anticipate some movement then. In the mean time I’d hold your head up and perhaps plan for reapplication I wish you all the best of luck

Yeah there was 90 ppl, now there are 79. It’s entirely possible that over 19 more students will drop, as many students are staying on waitlists for other schools, and probably would prefer the other school. Many of those ppl left the group chat these last 4 days. I expect more this coming week. There’s still hope!

We did one but not everyone responded. 9 ppl said they weren’t gonna commit but I think they have left the gc already. I’m sure the class is full, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be more movement if people get into schools they prefer more than CDU. A few ppl are still waiting to hear from the UCs but most UC don’t start waitlist movement till late May-july. So there might be minimal movement, but I would still say prepare for another cycle/school of just in case.

All of us had to commit to enroll so honestly we’re all probably locked in. I’d say max 1-2 spots will open if that. We just got someone today and I expect they’ll be the last ):

Yes we all had to CTE, but we were allowed to stay on waitlists at other schools. How that will play out really depends on the person and the school. Checking last two years thread it does seem like movement will be limited from here on out, but 1 person was admitted 2 weeks before school started, and another in late May.

So as always just with it being May, I would say prep to go to another school or reapply. You never know if you’ll be one of the 1-2 who do get off, but you should prepare for both outcomes. I wouldnt say you need to give up all hope. If you’re religious keep on praying, if you’re into manifesting, manifest. I wish they told yall your ranking so you could adequately prepare. The cycle is stressful and hard enough as it is, sometimes hope makes it easier to bear, regardless of the outcome.

A few ppl left and bought the number down to 59, and 1 person from the waitlist joined recently, making the class full as of Friday.



There are some ppl who are still on the waitlist for other schools. If they get off another spot may open, but I believe after gateway (July 7th) even if we did get accepted we might not be able to attend the other school because I believe once you attend orientation at a school you have to stay but I’m not sure so don’t quote me
