Hi! When I was considering CDU, that was the biggest drawback I could think of. At the end I felt like the good outweighed the bad. From MY experience, we had gateway for 6 weeks, which was like orientation and easing us into our course load. Then we had 8 weeks of just anatomy and physiology. We used an application called Complete Anatomy, which can be downloaded onto laptops/iPads. We also had Hololens once a week, which was taught by a faculty member, basically combined all the high-yield material from the week into a Hololens lecture. An anatomage table is also available for us to practice (do not need to reserve it, as long as no one is using it). Also used Bootcamp which is a 3rd party resource with dissected images.Had my interview the other day and really enjoyed it! The only hesitation I now have about CDU is that they do not have any cadaver labs for anatomy, and they are all strictly virtual. Does anyone who goes there currently want to share a little insight into how that has been for them? A little worried if that would be a hindrance to the experience. Thank you!
