i have to commit to enroll by 5/30 for my one A but drexel is my top choice school but have yet to hear back.. anyone know what i should do?
Unless things have changed, commit to enroll just means you have one acceptance and withdraw from your other acceptances, but you can still be on waitlists. It's the June/July deadline that means you give up your waitlists too.

Plan to enroll is withdrawing from other acceptances and staying on waitlists, but commit to enroll is withdrawing all other applications including waitlists

what about applications i’m not even on the waitlist for? aka like haven’t heard back my decision at all lol

Hi I have a semantics question. My one A has a CTE on 5/30 (upcoming Friday) and I'm on 2 WL's for schools that have given A's this cycle on Friday's. Would I have to withdraw from those waitlists before 5/30 or can I withdraw at 2pm on 5/30? Any advice/information here would be greatly appreciated.

Just got an A!! They sent email only - no call. OOS Interviewed on March 24. Automatically assigned to West Reading. Can anyone speak to this campus? Any downsides to attending this campus?
Is there an admitted student group chat?
What do you mean you got automatically assigned to West Reading? Did you fill out anything in your secondary or state anything in your interview which explictly states your interest in attending the West Reading Campus? I assumed that you fill out a form to rank the campuses after acceptance and then they run a lottery system to see whether or not you get Philly or West Reading. Please correct if I am wrong.

After a point, they assign you a campus upon acceptance to fill the spots as needed.

interviewed in November, deferred in January, update letter sent in March. Starting to feel like this is a soft rejection since I haven't heard anything since January :/
Omg November?? I’d try and send them an email or something. I’ve been trying to call but they never answer.

Hm, Im not sure if thats always the case because after getting your acceptance letter, if you do decide to commit to DUCOM, there is a campus placement policy that you fill out to rank your preferences. Is not the case for others?

I have several friends in my class who were assigned their campus on admission, Philly or WR wherever spots were open. I am an M3

I'm in the same boat, interviewed October and Deferred November with nothing since. Taking a look at last years forum they probably won't get to the pre 2025 defers until mid June at the earliest. It seems they are still going through initial decisions on the interviews up to April before they bother. I could be wrong but that's what I've been seeing.

it seems that they had a lot of movement last year mid June - mid July. I also saw that people were getting waitlist emails mid June after getting deferred months prior. I thought, according to the Drexel website, that after mid-April if you haven't been rejected and were deferred, you are automatically on the waitlist. So I guess in the next couple weeks we will be getting waitlist notification emails if its the same as last year?

I thought that as well, I think we forgot we needed to add 2 months to any timeframe they give us though. Very silly of us 🙁. Good news is we should see tons of movement when that happens from Mid June to Late July! Bad news is the waitlist agony will continue through reapps.

Withdrew from this school, never got a decision post interview from mid March. Its May 30th, extremely irritating.

Drexel, it's June and I was deferred in March. Can I please have a decision... 😭

I just checked the CYMS tool and Drexel does not appear there, even though I am currently on their deferred list... Has anyone else had this issue? I emailed admissions but it might take a week to hear back.

It is because deferral list is an unofficial waitlist. Last year they formed the official wailist in May but this year they just are keeping everyone in deferral purgatory.

Just got put on the official waitlist, no defer. I wonder how much movement there is typically

At the interview I remember admissions saying that very few people get a post-II R.

I also emailed them and got clarification that the waitlist and being deferred are not synonymous. You are only on the waitlist if you are informed that you have been moved to the waitlist. People who are still deferred are still being looked at to determine if they will be accepted or waitlisted. According to MSAR, historically ~300 people get waitlisted and 73 people are offered a seat from the waitlist.

Sending good vibes to everyone!

It seems that historically that deferred applicants should be WL either this week or next as the WL has now formed
