Thank you! I was really surprised as well. I received the II on 4/09 so the overall turnaround time for everything felt especially quick. I sent an Update/Letter of Interest early March but did not send a Letter of Intent (was going to save that for a deferral decision). I hope to get into the Philadelphia campus!

Does anyone know if the page locks after you submit your campus selection? I submitted my preference and the system confirmed it but it looks like I can resubmit it if I want and i'm worried if this is an error.

IIRC from when I was an M0, you could edit it until you were assigned by the lottery.

Hey had a quick question about campuses! For those interested in Philly- which campus is used most often for 1/2nd year students?

I thought queen lane was the main building, but saw some things about a new facility in university city opening in 2023. Is that where med students spend most of their time now? And if so, what is the queen lane campus used for if anything? Thanks!

Queen Lane has not been used for class since 2023. It is currently used for some research labs but once the new UCity research facility opens, they are moving there. Your time is spent at HSB.

Hi, current DUCOM student! Yes, classes are all held at the Health Sciences Building (HSB) on 36th Street in University City (built in 2023 and it's super nice - where I spend most of my time!). Most students live in either University City or Center City/Rittenhouse area. If you're looking to live in UCity I would recommend looking at the apartment buildings nearby (for example Paloma, ANOVA, Triad, Carriage House, etc.), houses in Powelton Village but stick close to campus-ish, or in the area around Penn's campus (although a bit farther of a walk). I also have friends who live in CC and some walk (can be 20-30 mins), bike, or take the trolley or free Drexel Shuttle.
 
Current M1 at DUCOM - for those asking about Facebook and GroupMe pages, the official Facebook group will open in June, and an official GroupMe group will be created and posted then too. I was very confused about this last year, so just wanted to clarify for you all! In the meantime, last year somebody made an unofficial GroupMe for people to join and created a roommate spreadsheet as well (including preferences, location, a quick blurb, and contact information/socials).

Just curious, has somebody made a groupme or roommate spreadsheet yet for your incoming 2030 class, or is this something you all need/would like a current student to create? Feel free to PM me about this or any other questions as well. Congrats to everyone accepted!

someone made a groupme but only like 20 people are on it - no one made the roommate spreadsheet
 
Are interviews over by now? I still have not get rejected yet and have not gotten any updates from the admissions office.

Ya sounded like last interview was 4/13. I interviewed late March and am still waiting for the initial decision. Some ppl who interviewed mid march to mid april have started to hear back this week so hopefully we'll hear soon.

Looks like there have been a lot of WL and R yesterday and today on admit, but no A reported. Is there a day of the week they typically send out A, or is it mostly random?

Random, last week there was ppl who got A and WL same day. Most/all R yesterday were ppl who didn't interview
 
I was deferred 4/21. Interview 3/4. Does anyone have any insight as to when they would let me know the decision? Would it look bad to call or email them to ask this? At this point its may and idk if i need to submit another application
 
hey!! i got my ii 1/6, interviewed 2/9, and was accepted 3/26 (IS applicant). would anyone be able to send the groupme link my way? ty!!
