Same with my school and orgo, it had a separate lab that wasn't specifically Orgo I lab and Orgo II lab, but Emory said it was fine. It's a good idea to clear it with admissions though @run321 so you don't get blindsided later and have to take a course before matriculation

Yes, if I were you, I'd message them about it. You have nothing to lose; they won't "hold it against you" if there's some routine process answer to your question.
hey, I'm in a similar dilemma my school UC berkeley as a weird chem sequence where its just one semester of gen chem + lab. On your portal did you just drag biochem with along with your semester of gen chem in the section?
Yup! My school sends a cover letter with my letters of rec packet that explains our unique chem sequence too, so I mentioned that in the description box as well.
I had a manuscript that I was second author on recently get published. Should I include just that here (it is for research I was a part of up till senior year but stopped once I left my uni for my gap year)
last cycle, I think the first II was sent in September.
however, last cycle they did not sending out secondaries until august 1 if i remember correctly, whereas this year they sent out secondaries in early/mid July...so I wonder if the timeline will get shifted earlier at all?

interview wasn’t the best…I was actually convinced that I was not going to get in. To be honest the group interview part was weird. They essentially ask everyone to answer the same questions one at a time so it’s hard to really show any collaborative skills. Don’t be stressed! clearly even a sub optimal experience can lead to good outcomes!

gap or no gap? I realized nearly everyone sent primary/secondaries one month earlier than me here. How did you guys manage to do it that quick?
Many of the people who applied as early as possible had been preparing their application months prior to AMCAS even opening (I started writing my PS in November of last year for example). This also means many of them had secondaries prewritten and all they had to do was copy and paste.
Group interview is 3 on 3, but the overall interview was like 15-20 students 🙂
No, they were traditional interview questions. We took turns answering them, but other than that it was like a normal interview.
