OOS II earlier this afternoon! Super quick turnaround considering I submitted my secondary 08/13. Interviews virtually were booking in mid-december with ~30-40 spots for two interview days left when I responded to the invite.

Canadian here interviewing end of November! Does anyone know if end of November is late or on-time for interviews as they interview from August? Or am I being paranoid lol.

Did anyone receive an email after interviewing today? I thought they mentioned there was survey they want us to complete.

I was the first interview date this cycle (8/13) and they said 4-6 weeks but it should be less than 4 weeks. And before anyone asks I will not be giving any information due to my non disclosure I signed lol.

you got the II August 15th and the earliest interview is in Sept 17th? Is it in person or virtual?
I'm a bit confused too cause I got a II here on August 8th but the earliest available option for me was a virtual interview on December 10th

when i scheduled my interview last month the in person interview dates were all earlier than the virtuals

Do you remember the earliest virtual?
when i signed up the first date available was yesterday. there was only one interview group virtual before that one which was on 8/13. they had dates throughout all of september!

I'm getting nervous about my upcoming interview with this school. it's my first one, so I don't want to mess up, but gosh, it nerve wracking. How are people preparing? to those who already had it, what did you do that helped you through it? were there any surprise questions you felt gave you a hard time?
There should be a set of like 80 practice interview questions around somewhere. I keep updating my answers with each cycle, but didn’t have much time this go around since my interview date is tomorrow and I just scheduled it last Thursday. If you can’t find it by tomorrow, I’ll make a separate doc and attach it for yall

Thank you! I had my interview last Friday, and it was pretty chill. I was told to review past SDN questions and that's what I did. It was helpful to build my confidence.

Everyone has different strengths, but I think a lot of students struggle with Scientific foundations of medicine, Cardio, pulmonary, and renal, and Mechanism of disease
could you break down an average day of what your hour to hour looks like in a "normal day"

Typically in first year you'll have lectures most days, OMM and anatomy labs twice a week. Schedules are different for everyone. You'll spend a lot more time studying in first year until you figure out what works for you.

are lectures mandatory at KCU? Are they recorded and uploaded as well?

How far would you recommend living from campus, not even KCU specific, is a 20-30 commute too far?
I'd recommend trying to spend as little time commuting as possible. 30 mins 1 way isn't a huge deal, but when you're in med school and you have a million things to do, you're not gonna want to be spending an hour a day driving. I'd say 20 mins max personally.

that is very fair, I was looking into living in Shawnee Kansas, would you say that is pushing it?
