Ah okay. I also got a confirmation email from KCU for an interview reminder: "This is a reminder of your scheduled interview for Kansas City University's College of Medicine Class of 2028."

I was freaked out when I saw 2028.

They give an option for virtual or in person. I live pretty far away and selected virtual to lock down a spot as early as possible, but I wonder if I should fly out for this. It's not my top choice but it'd be nice to go here.

I had slots for Aug 20 and Aug 26, both had 40 slots left when I applied. If these weren't there for you then they must be sending out massive waves of II's to have 80 slots filled in minutes

Definitely not lol. DO cycle starts earlier but runs a lot later as well. Still considered early if you submit soon

I am an OMS1 on the KC campus. I relatively recently finished the whole interview cycle with KCU. I chose KCU over several other schools, including an MD school. Feel free to message me if you have questions. I won’t give any specifics on interview questions, etc. but I can help out how I can otherwise.

Preclinicals are hard core so I will message back when I can but be patient with me as school is my first priority.

I got the interview invite and I remember also signing up for a virtual tour. There was no email confirmation for that and I forgot the date. Do they send info prior to the tour or did I screw myself by not writing it down
