I am currently filling out the AACOMAS application for Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine at Bradenton, and ran into this question:

1.Please list any educational or employment experiences that followed your undergraduate graduation. Please also detail any gaps in these experiences. The list should fall in chronological order starting with the most recent experience and moving back in time to your graduation. Please use this opportunity to describe (concisely) how these experiences helped to prepare you to study osteopathic medicine.


I am a nontraditional student, and attended community college part time for 4 years while working in the medical field full time. Then I transferred to university and I am currently finishing my degree. I will graduate in December. I have worked and gained medical experience throughout college. I am wondering if I should answer this question, because it states to list any educational or employment experiences that FOLLOWED your undergraduate graduation.

Also received my secondary, IS 6/19 @ 5:25pm.

Is anyone having trouble with the supplemental application? When I log into the portal it is just making me start an application and telling me I have to apply through AACOMAS, which I already did.

+1 on this too. It seems like the site is broken or they gave us the wrong link. I didn't see anything about submitting a secondary.
 
secondary received 6/19

link also not working on my end, I click "start application" and answer the prompts for doctor of osteopathy and it says to apply thru aacomas. weird...

IS secondary received 6/19

They’re about to be flooded with emails haha, seems like it’s an issue on their end though so at least we’re all in the same boat 🙂 hopefully it gets resolved soon

is this supplemental for all lecom campuses? or will there be separate ones for each

I wish we knew what the secondary questions were so we could at least get started lol! Does anyone know if they tend to keep the same prompts?

in the past few years, it seems that they didn’t really even have secondary essays. There was the question on the primary that asked about activities since graduation. This supplemental might just collect more personal information and request a fee? If there is an essay, I’m sure it won’t be long at all
 
What are all of the different program options? Would I just select the problem based learning brandenton if I am interested in staying in FL?
 
I just logged in and have a new screen about my submission. The issue is that it says I am fully submitted, completed review, and a decision has been made on my acceptance, although I did not do anything or pay any fees (no option to pay either). I’m guessing it’s just all messed up.

It also says my transcript hasn’t been received and I need to have my institution send it to LECOM as well (although it is in AACOMAS and verified)…

Same here, I just finished filling out the demographic questions and stuff and it says "this is an official transcript for []. Please contact the issuing institution to have your transcript sent to LECOM. This item will be updated as soon as we have received the necessary documents from them" It is also saying that the prereqs haven't been submitted but they were submitted on AACOMAS?

Yeah. I submitted and paid, and now it’s asking me for transcripts from my high school AND THREE high schools I didn’t even attend. Its jacked up at the moment.

On the bright side, there were no essay questions

Yeah I paid for primaries to Bradenton and Erie…probably a mistake paying for two primaries, but would be nice to be up for consideration for both after paying that.
 
is the application fully working yet or should I hold off on submitting?

Yeah I do not want to pay for a transcript from my high school if its not required. Does anyone know anything about last year?
 
Did anyone else submit an application for the lecture-based pathway just for it to say that you selected the problem-based pathway on the main page after submission? Because that is what it is showing for me right now 🙄 This whole portal has been a mess. Also wondering if anyone got any answer regarding transcripts?
 
They haven't responded to my email or my voicemail message. I'm not filling anything out or ordering additional transcripts until they fix their website lol
 
I just got my secondary OOS. I filled everything out, it didn't ask for transcripts or what type of learning pathway I wanted. But it repeatedly said I had an error after I clicked submit. I saved it to try and go back in and now it says I submitted the application and it's complete. I guess we will wait and see how things pan out. Did you guys get an email confirmation after submitting it, I have not so I'm curious?

Also do any of the links work on your home page? Virtual tours, applicant resources, academic calendar, etc? mine all go to blank pages.

The same exact thing happened to me.
Yesterday when I previewed the application, there was an area to selected the type of Pathway.
When I logged in today, that option wasn't there.
I also kept getting the error message when I went to submit, but then when I logged in 30 mins. later there it showed submitted.
I did not receive a confirmation email though either.

The links on the page don't work for me either.
 
Hi guys! Received an email around 6 PM stating everything should be working. I logged in and I no longer have any pending things except the application fee (I am waiting on fee assistance verification).

Also, I selected "Problem-based learning pathway Bradenton", I was so unclear with that - what did you guys choose?

I also chose PBL! Did you get a confirmation email when you finished? I didn’t and I was just curious if they were a thing or not lol
 
I applied to both Erie and Bradenton on the primary through AACOMAS... If I pick a campus on the secondary, will I no longer be considered for both??
 
I just tried filling out the supplemental application, but it won't let me submit it and says, "Please review the error(s) below. 3. Create Person Employment - Required fields are missing: [Name]" Even though all required fields are filled out...


EDIT: Was able to submit by just clicking back to LECOM icon on top left. I'm guessing the error message was just a glitch. Next step was to pay for my application fee (50$), but it wouldn't recognise my billing street address. The way around this was just to put in my state where it says street address and click on the option. Enter everything else like normal, and you should be able to submit normally. The only thing I have left now is "application fee waiver," which shows as incomplete but I don't qualify for it anyway.

My secondary asks me to input the date of my ACT. Since i took it in highschool nearly 6 years ago I do not remember the date anyone else have a similar problem? Did you just estimate a date?
 
Does anyone know if LECOM does interviews virtually in addition to inperson?

I had to make an account to get my SAT date and score lol. It’s super easy if it’s through collegeboard as well

Process to submit went very smoothly, they must have fixed some of their technical issues from the prev weeks!

do you have the fee waiver still there or did you get all the way to the application complete tab?
