Has anyone here done their in-person interviews? Mine is scheduled for April and I wanted to know what their experience was like

Honestly, everyone there was nice; the applicants, adcoms, students, and staff. If you have any specific questions, feel free to reach out

Hi everyone,

For those that received interview invites, what was your mcat score? I’m applying next cycle and this is my dream school so hoping to get some clarity on what their range is

500 MCAT GPA 3.67

Withdrew my acceptance as well. Really hard for me as this school is beautiful and everyone was so nice.. Good luck to everyone!

Not the hardest decision to withdraw from here… seems like they have a lot to work on starting with keeping faculty engaged

I truly wonder when those from the 3/5 interview date will hear back, since they hadn't given us an estimate when I asked. Being that they have another interview day tomorrow, next Wednesday, and 3/31, do you guys think that the adcom would've already have met, or will they wait until April to decide on all March interviewees collectively?

I interviewed 3/5 and was rejected today. I'm pretty sure it's because I said yes to having another acceptance but IDK.

I have a 3.36gpa and 497 MCAT. AACOMAS deadline is April 11. Is it worth applying? Do they accept students with MCAT under 500? Their AACOMAS web page says 500min, which is why I did not apply, but FL is my home state. Do they have any seats left? And what are the major red flags for this school? I've heard of issues with professors being new...

I got an A at another school BTW, but I want to stay in FL though.

They reccomend a 500 MCAT, it used to be a required minimum but that has changed. Some people are still getting acceptances it seems, so it seems there’s still seats open. May-June waitlist movement is going to be crazy for a new school so it’s worth a shot if you don’t mind spending your money.

Curious on feedback or updates for those who interviewed 3/27 and 31. Has anyone gotten an update? GL to all. It’s 2wk and 1day now. Also, is everyone receiving a notice via email or other methods?

Hey guys, question. I received an II back in January, however the only interview dates they had available was May. I signed up for May and only received an email through sign up genius. Was I supposed to receive one from the school as well confirming my interview?

Sign up genius Is the main scheduler website, they send an email from the school itself about 2-3 days before the actual interview date with some information about the day, don’t worry if you haven’t gotten an email from the school yet since it comes right before the actual interview date

I see! Thank you so much

4/2 Interview, WL today, curious what might happen, sent a LOI after interview and send a LOCI today right after getting the WL email, feeling a little frantic and wondering if i should panic or not yet since so many have already been A

What is a LOCI?

i’m also confused as to how there’s a WL but they still have more interviews to do, what does this mean in terms of my chances of being offered A, cause they must have space left if more are interviewing, ik it’s a med thing but still so weird

Because people will start withdrawing their A's as the traffic guideline is approaching. Then the school will start accepting students off the waitlist.

If I sent a letter of intent right after being waitlisted (in Feb), should I send a letter of continued interest now? I haven’t heard anything else from admissions other than that they added the LOI to my app. Not sure if that would be overkill or not??

Shooters shot really at this point, just try and offer some updates of stuff you’re doing in the meantime
