Remember to schedule your Casper exam.

Early Decision applicants must take the Casper exam by the end of June. All Regular Decision applicants have an end-of-September deadline.

Has anyone received a secondary? In-state student kind of feeling nervous, I've checked my spam and made a separate email for applications so i know I haven't missed anything

What are the character/word limits if you don't mind sharing?

I submitted my AMCAS app the day it opened. It was verified a couple days later then I was just waiting on AMCAS to send it to MCG. Is there something special EDP applicants have to submit?

Anybody else having problems with checking off the Georgia residency tab? I've input all the data and it's saying I haven't completed the last bullet point that asks if anyone else claimed me as their dependent.

I didn't, and I'm not a dependent.

Does MCG usually take this long to send secondaries?? It’s literally the last one I’m waiting on
Idk looking at previous threads, MCG appears to be taking longer to send secondaries this cycle for some reason. For 2023-2024, most EDP applicants received a secondary ~07/11/23 and most RDP received secondaries ~07/19/23 I think. Similar dates for 2022-2023. No idea what they're doing this cycle LOL.

So, I didn't see how biased this school was. I am OOS and just received a secondary, should I even complete it?

When I submitted the secondary application, I got an email that "secondary application is received". I just wanted to be sure, will I need an email about it being specifically "completed"?

helloooo does anyone know if we have to submit our individual tax forms if we are under 24 and were claimed dependant by parents on recent tax forms

If you are a dependent student meaning you're less than 24 years old and claimed by a parent/guardian you should be able to just upload your parents' tax forms:
Dependent: An individual under the age of 24 who receives financial support from a parent or United States court-appointed legal guardian.

1. If you are under the age of 24, and your parents or legal guardians claimed you on their most recent tax forms (i.e. 2023), the following documents may be requested:

  • A copy of your parent’s GA driver’s license(s).
  • A copy of your parent’s most recent tax forms (federal and state) with all SSNs marked out
    • Federal Form 1040: Pages 1 & 2
    • State Form GA Form 500: Pages 1-5
  • If you have a legal guardian; you need to submit legal court documents showing that they have been appointed as your legal guardian.
  • Additional supporting document details can be found in the “Tuition Classification Tab”

Honestly, don’t do it. They admit like 1 OOS student a year. What do you think are the odds they’ll hold your OOS application in the same regard as another OOS applicant that grew up in Georgia, has family in Georgia, lived/worked in Georgia within the last 5 years, and shows a desire to stay in Georgia to practice upon graduating?

How'd y'all get your portals to not be as laggy, it's getting me WORKED UP that the dates aren't entering correctly

Yeah I figured

It was super laggy for me too. It took me a minute to figure it out. I had to press the calendar and then manually click the year then find the right date.

dang fr? Their secondary is pretty long too. Do I just not submit? I have strong ties to GA though strong ECs but average stats

Gauge by how you feel answering the secondaries. Are you making up BS about how Georgia is a cool state or are your ties really genuinely and convincing enough to make Georgia sound like your second home because ultimately, the schools wants to select for students that stay in Georgia.

Oh, lol I thought we had to send residency info after they requested it. I hadn't sent in my scanned tax return info so they just requested it.
No it's says in the residency section that all applicants are required to upload two docs.
1. State ID
2. Tax form (GA Form 500 or Federal Tax return)

are they not asking for a profile picture this year? i submitted one last year but can't find anywhere on the secondary this time around to submit one. just want to make sure im not missing it
