~20 people left yesterday. there are 229 members but that also includes current M1s and, i think, the regional campuses

For the matriculated students? My class ('27) GC is 289 people, but it also contains some people from the class above me (mainly to give info on events, etc). The '28 GC has 311 people. But they're both on GroupMe, so you can mute them, which is very nice lol.

Thanks for letting us know. On one hand, good to hear movement is happening. On the other hand, is it really WL --> A movement or like e22 here, also people who have been accepted to MCW but are just joining later.

Anyone have an idea if MCW does take folks off the waitlist this early in May, or usually it's mid-May?

Historically WL movement happens mid-May (May 16th last year), but it seems to vary between Mid-May to early June based on historical data (I am neurotic)

Do you guys think that a letter of intent makes it more likely for you to be taken off the waitlist for specifically MCW? For example, have the people who got off the waitlist mostly had letters of intent? I’m a bit neurotic right now and wanted to check because I haven’t found any information regarding this.

MCW likes updates. I submitted a LOI with updates, no response yet. I read someone on SDN last year sent a LOI and was accepted at the end of May.

Awesome, that's great to hear 🙂 I really try not to be neurotic but I'm in a tough position in my life at the moment. It would be so much nicer to know ahead of time to plan for next steps. This helps a lot, thank you.

Ill parrot the other response. When waiting for an interview, i sent an interest letter & got an interview several weeks later. Obvi that is just anecdotal and could be coincidence but i do think they appreciate continued interest 🙂

With information not being readily available, the only thing we can do is look at anecdotal evidence and try to piece together everything. Thank you for sharing! That's nice to know that they generally like seeing continued interest

Anyone meet with admissions? I’ve been trying to get into a reapp appointment for months but they are all out when I look. I look every single day in the morning and three times a day when they say they’ll open in the beginning of the month I check extra times.
