Has anyone who was accepted on December 16th gotten the acceptance packet yet? I am terrified it went to my spam or got lost!
nope, still haven't received it yet.

For OOS applicants that have completed the supplementary essays, but have not received a secondary invitation yet, is it safe to say that we are out of the running?

Assuming you mean for the next cycle and not this one, yes. IS preference for the SC schools is huge. Several of our class have stats close to yours (most of the class has a higher MCAT though), but I would definitely retake your MCAT if you can. A few more points would make a big improvement in your chances.

yeah that makes sense, but this 503 is my second mcat so idk if i want to retake for a third time, what do you think? I have used up all my resources and feel like my score could be inflated but not too sure. I want to still apply and maybe focus on making my app stronger since I do have a low mcat but i dont know if that would help or taking the mcat again

Post-II on hold IS - can someone please explain in more detail what this means? I’m not sure if this is a “soft rejection” or if it’s normal for most applicants to be put on hold before acceptance

pretty sure no one post II has been rejected as far as i know. so we’ll most likely be waiting to see which of us make the waitlist in march

Just got a secondary invite, OOS with strong ties to Charleston. Had already given up hope on here lol

I am so confused, do we have to submit different secondary prompts as OOS students? I am looking at the secondary prompts and they are the exact same ones I submitted for the pre-screen/secondary questions

Does getting the official secondary mean we will get an II? Or does everyone get the secondary?

Also got OOS II yesterday, very excited! Does anyone know if the interviews are open or closed file?

Omg congrats yall!! i remember in my interview that they said march 20th we should find out but i wonder if they’re going early 😭

How are recent interviewees feeling about this Thursday😭? Also, will we get a call or an email?

I'm an absolutely massive ball of stress right now since this is the last school that could save me from being a waitlist warrior/reapplicant 😭. I really love the school too, but have no idea what to feel since two of my interviewers were a bit awkward and closed off. But I think As should be a call based on reports from the December decision release?

anyone still on hold since mid november? i’m IS and interviewed in october, my email said we would hear back by early march on a final decision. also anyone know if people typically get accepted off hold at this point or just waitlist/reject?
