does anyone remember what was said about when to submit letters of intent for waitlist people?
I believe he had said wait until the call in April and he’d tell us wether or not it would be helpful to submit one at that point?

Hi! Looking for accepted students group me link! Thanks in advance

Anyone know when is ideal to submit a letter of intent? Was seeing last year that it wasn't any use until CTE, but should I still do it beforehand?

Dean said no point until April 29th (if NYU is still your first choice)

Have any waitlisters heard anything more about the online meeting Dean Rivera had mentioned for the end of April?

There are ~161 people on the waitlist, they are expecting the number of people holding spots to go down to 80-90. They think that if things follow the trends of previous years, there will be around 30-50 people accepted off of the waitlist. The first round of acceptances will likely be around 30 people or less by this Friday (is the goal, might be later, asked to give some grace for that), and they'll hold a mini revisit next Wednesday and a Q&A/OH with the Dean next Tuesday to help people decide. No need to fill out FAFSA/CSS until accepted. Same policy as previous years, LOI is just if your school requires you CTE, they check it is present to verify that you would consider NYU, emphasized that you should not CTE to a different school unless you have to. If you want to send an update, you can send an update, but no guarantees that it will be read, if the committee reconvenes to review your application again, it will be read.
